France And The Netherlands Reject The EU Constitution

It all started when The European Economic Community (The EEC), established in 1957 by The Treaty of Rome brought in Italy, Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg to join France and Germany, removing trade barriers between member states and unifying their economic policies. We read in Romans 3:2 that the oracles of God were committed to the Jewish people. What then can the Old Testament learn us concerning The European Union and the revived Roman empire of Bible prophecy?

In the book of Daniel in the Old Testament, we are told the Antichrist ( a "little horn") is going to rise up among ten horns, three of which will be plucked up by their roots: ¨After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things¨, Daniel 7:7 - 8.

Now both France and the Netherlands have said no to the EU constitution. Little Belgium is carrying a heavy load, both politically and economically, in hosting the EU, and will eventually join France and the Netherlands in rejecting the EU constitution. By leaving out God from the EU constitution a fundament is laid for the Antichrist, for many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist, 2 John 1:7.

I believe France, The Netherlands, and Belgium, are the three horns of Daniel's prophecy, which will leave the EU. There is also much unhappiness in the northern parts of Italy, with everyday life getting very expensive due to the Euro, so it is very possible that this geographic part of Italy will join France as well.

Now the no vote of France and The Netherlands will make the EU project advance at a faster pace. The rejection of the EU constitution by France and the Netherlands signals that the expansion and unification of Europe has to either go quicker or die. This means that not only countries like Turkey and Ukraine will join the EU but also North African countries, Syria, Lebanon and Iran, and soon this new Europe will speak with one voice in the Security Council.

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved, John 3:17. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but He that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God, John 3:18. There is therefore no salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men than the Name of Jesus, whereby we must be saved, see Acts 4:12.

The revived Roman empire is eventually going to speak with one voice - the voice of the Antichrist - and then the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3 - 14, see http://two-olive-trees.org, will warn all people from the great city, Revelation 11:8, where also Jesus was crucified - The Seven Hilled Jerusalem - that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth, Revelation 17:18, where also the Antichrist will rule from the temple and declare himself to be God, 2 Thessalonians 2:4. The mount of Esau - Rome - will also be judged by the two witnesses, and the Christians in it saved, Obadiah 1:21, because it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated, Romans 9:13. The brave Romans will see Satan crushed under feet shortly by the God of peace, our Lord Jesus, according to Romans 16:20.

¨When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh¨, Luke 21:28. Contend therefore earnestly for the faith, Jude 1:3, because our Lord Jesus Christ has decided to make us kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth, Revelation 5:10, forever and ever, Revelation 22:5.

God Wants Us To Be Wealthy

We read about Jesus: ¨Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing¨, Revelation 5:12. Now Jesus is the firstborn among many brethren, Romans 8:29, and ¨if you be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise¨, Galatians 3:29. Thus the riches of the world belong to us, and God wants us to be prosperous and to have great successes as it is written: ¨but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. God is able to do ¨exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think¨, Ephesians 4:20, since His is all the power both ¨in heaven and in earth¨, Matthew 28:18. Jesus even promised to prepare a place for you, John 14:2, as it is confirmed in 1 Corinthians 2:9 : ¨eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him¨.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich, 2 Corinthians 8:9. Thus you have God's promise to get rich in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous on every occasion, which will result in thanksgiving to God, 2 Corinthians 9:11, for the Lord richly blesses all who call on him, Romans 10:12.

The Lord made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt, Acts 13:17, for it is His will to provide us with everything for our enjoyment, 1 Timothy 6:17, for ¨where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty¨, 2 Corinthians 3:17, and ¨Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law¨, Galatians 3:13. Thus Christ is our spiritual Rock, 1 Corinthians 10:4, the same Rock that led His people out of Egypt, Jude 1:5, and when you give it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, see Luke 6:38. Now that God did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, Romans 8:32, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Do You Play Games With The Devil?

Jesus said that the generation, which would see Jerusalem come under the domination of the Jewish people - which happened in 1967 - Luke 21:24, would not pass away till all things would be fulfilled, as Jesus Christ would return by then, Matthew 24:34. We already know that Jesus will return at the latest in 2018 since the average length of one generation is 51 years (1967 + 51 = 2018). The length of one generation is based upon the average length of the 77 generations that lived during the 4000 years which passed from Adam to Jesus, see Luke 3:23 - 38.

Jesus wants us to understand what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, Ephesians 3:18, so that we might be filled with all the fulness of God, Ephesians 3:19, and all the knowledge of God, Romans 15:14. Therefore it is wise to beware of philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition and elements of men, and instead adhere to the wisdom of Christ, Colossians 2:8 and 2 Peter 2:20. For God our Savior wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3 - 4. Every Christian believer should therefore study the word of God, to be approved by God and unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth, 2 Timothy 2:15, since it is the Word of life, 1 John 1:1. For faith comes by hearing, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ, Romans 10:17.

He who confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God, 1 John 4:15. Salvation depends thus on the confession that Jesus is Lord, and on the belief that God raised him from the dead, Romans 10:9. Whosoever therefore believes in Jesus will never perish, but has everlasting life, John 3:16. Now God is love, 1 John 4:16, and there is no fear in love, 1 John 4:18. He that dwells in love, dwells in God, and God in him, 1 John 4:16, and therefore we ought to be perfect even as our heavenly Father is perfect, Matthew 5:48, because fear has torment, but perfect love casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. Now we therefore build up ourselves in our most holy faith, and pray in the Holy Spirit, see Jude 1:20.

Are you playing games with the devil, or do you do the will of your heavenly Father? What did you do for Christ today? ¨Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:¨, Isaiah 30:1. ¨For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears¨, 2 Timothy 4:3.

Therefore the best advice to Christian believers is to preach the word - and to be instant in season and out of season - and to reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and sound doctrine, see 2 Timothy 4:2.

Beware Of The Leaven Of The Pharisees!

God makes no distinction between the sacred and the secular. Therefore Jesus said: ¨Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod¨, Mark 8:15. This hypocrisy - Luke 12:1 - the omitment of judgment, mercy, and faith, among other things, see Matthew 23:23, propelled Jesus once to say even to Peter: ¨Get thee behind me, Satan!¨, Mark 8:33.

Now Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every believer, Romans 10:4. For the righteousness of God without the law is manifested through Jesus, Romans 3:21. When Jesus raised up the dead daughter of the synagogue ruler Jairus, Jesus said: ¨Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole¨, Luke 8:50. Hereby this was given as a pedagogic example that no man can lay any other foundation than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ, I Corinthians 3:11. But those who are ignorant of God's righteousness and establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God, Romans 10:3. Even the apostle Paul recognized the law of sin making war against the law of his mind, see 2 Corinthians 3:6, and exclaimed in despair: ¨O wretched man that I am!¨, Romans 7:23 - 24. The apostle James, as he was a loving disciple that followed in the footsteps of Jesus, added: ¨shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works¨, James 2:18.

All this mean that we don't have to be anxious for anything, if we continue to make our wants known to God, Philippians 4:6. Instead we will be rewarded with God's peace through Jesus Christ, Philippians 4:7 and John 14:27. By perseverance we also will be kept from the hour of temptation, Revelation 3:10, during the days of vengeance, Luke 21:22 - 24.

Purge therefore out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Christ, our passover lamb, is sacrificed for us, 1 Corinthians 5:7.
