Nos ex Deo sumus. Qui novit Deum, audit nos; qui non est ex Deo, non audit nos. In hoc cognoscimus Spiritum veritatis et spiritum erroris. (1 John 4:6)
"The Athens I knew 20 years ago has changed radically", says the author of an article in today's Telegraph.
Myself, I met Elijah the Tishbite in Athens, Greece, over 20 years ago, and then my perception of Christ got changed and much more profound.
"When I moved here, you didn’t have homeless people sleeping on the streets, there was little crime and the sick and needy were looked after", says Christopher Humphrys in his article in the Telegraph.
It is true Athens has changed a lot, and like a lot of places in the rest of the world.
Despite the turmoil, illegal immigration isn’t slowing.
An Afghan refugee doesn’t care if Greece is in trouble, he only intends staying long enough to find a way to get to the promised lands of Germany, Britain, or Scandinavia, according to Humphrys.
But we are only at the start of this crisis.
What will happen next year when unemployment doubles and people lose their homes?, he asks.
The Communist calls for revolution don’t look nearly as far-fetched as they did six months ago.
God's judgement starts with Greece and Israel, in order for Greeks and Jews, God's elect peoples to save the rest of the world when God's judgement moves on.
Revelation 12:17 states: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ".
Here the Bible speaks of the 11 non-Jewish Israeli tribes, the seed of the woman, which will feel the full wrath of the Antichrist empire, for keeping God's commandments and the love of Christ.
Now the nations help Greece with its economic burdens, and Israel against its enemies.
In the same way God will help the nations when they are on their knees.
"Cum autem venerit ille, Spiritus veritatis, docebit vos in omnem veritatem; non enim loquetur a semet ipso, sed quaecumque audiet, loquetur et, quae ventura sunt, adnuntiabit vobis", John 16:13.
