Via Dayton Daily News A program that provides subsidized phone service to low-income individuals has nearly doubled in size in Ohio in the past year — now covering more than a million people. At the same time, federal officials say they’re reining in waste, fraud and abuse in the program. Just like there must be free health care for all citizens, and the education likewise should be free and equal for all children, so should of course telephone services be free too in the civilized world. The West is the leading part of the world, and capitalism is the best political system. However, even the sun has its spots, and if we cannot provide a good and sustainable society for all citizens, then capitalism, democracy, and freedom are of course of no value. Conservatism, yes, and with a massive social impact - one man, one vote - avoiding wars, and dependency upon private banks, which all should be nationalized. Constitutional Monarchy, Christianity, and Democracy, are the pillars upon which civilized society is defended by its military, preserved, and works efficiently, technology advances, and equality, justice, and liberty are allowed to thrive. If we allow private banks to plunder people, wars to plunder nations, religious freedom to destroy the world, schools to only educate the children of the rich, and only people with money to get adequate health care, and furthermore Presidents who were not born to rule, then we have failed as a generation. The West is powerful, and from the East comes wisdom, without which there would be no future.

Via BBC News: Pope Benedict XVI's former butler has entered no plea at the start of his trial in the Vatican on charges of aggravated theft. Paolo Gabriele, 46, admitted earlier to leaking confidential documents to expose "evil and corruption". "Seeing evil and corruption everywhere in the Church... I was sure that a shock, even a media one, would have been healthy to bring the Church back on the right track", he was quoted as saying in June. The court threw out some of the more sensitive evidence gathered in the course of the investigation. Saturday's session of the court dealt with procedural issues and the trial was adjourned until Tuesday. While technically Mr Gabriele faces up to four years in prison if found guilty, he could be pardoned by the Pope. Pope Benedict said after his former butler's arrest that the news had "brought sadness in my heart". On Saturday, the court ruled that the results of an investigation carried out by cardinals for the Pope would not be admitted as trial evidence, Reuters news agency reports. The trial will be based only on an investigation by a Vatican prosecutor and Vatican police. The chief judge said the court hoped to reach a verdict by the end of next week.
Via The European Union Times: Patriarch Kirill said the Orthodox Church did not intend to merge with the state but advised to stop copying western ways and values as this would mean "an eternal lagging behind". Speaking to Moscow State University students, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church blasted those who advocated the European way of development as, in his view "imitating and copying is always inferior to the original as it lacks the original beginning, the true authorship". "When you build a civilization on the foundation of imitation this means that you determine the development in such a way that it will always be dependent upon those who have given birth to the original and continues to do so", the Patriarch said. Kirill added that Russia had already known examples of "senseless and often aggressive westernization", but the true European way was not in copying, but in understanding one’s own European roots and return to these roots with understanding of all particular details in the cultural and historical environment. The Patriarch stressed that the European civilization was based on two cornerstones – Greco-Roman philosophical traditions and the Biblical Revelation. He then said that the Russian civilization, which is a direct heir to the Byzantine Empire, has managed to keep the tradition for centuries and is still viable.

The United Nations is at it again: finding new and "innovative" ways to create global taxes that would transfer hundreds of billions, and even trillions, of dollars from the rich nations of the world to poorer ones, in line with U.N.-directed economic, social, and environmental development. We can expect a new global tax on all financial transactions, including stock and bond trading, and trading in financial derivatives. New taxes on carbon emissions and on airline tickets are proposed. There will also be a "royalty" on all undersea mineral resources extracted more than 100 miles offshore of any nation’s territory. How to convince developed countries wracked by economic recession and spiraling levels of government debt is another issue, which the world organization may well end up trying to finesse. The world organization, and its constellation of funds, agencies, and programs, has been pushing "innovative financing" for nearly a decade.
Via The Local: Two 18-year-olds have been detained in connection with an explosion that damaged a Jewish community center in Malmö early Friday morning in an incident that has rekindled debate about the safety of Jews in Sweden's third largest city. The city's Jewish leaders expressed their shock and fear following the attack. Fred Kahn, head of the Jewish community in Malmö, said the attack reaffirms the view that the Jews in Malmö remain under threat and have suffered as a result. Lena Posner-Körösi, chair of the Official Council of Swedish Jewish Communities (Judiska centralrådet) explained that the Skåne County governing board has twice rejected applications by the Malmö Jewish community to install surveillance cameras on the street adjacent to the building that was attacked on Friday morning. Malmö's Social Democratic mayor Ilmar Reepalu, who has come under fire on numerous occasions for remarks interpreted as being anti-Semitic, condemned Friday's attack as "a criminal act". Despite the political posturing, Jewish community leader Kahn pointed out that one of the first calls he received Friday morning was from Reepalu. "The support we've received has been incredibly important. It's overwhelming for many of us", he told the local Skånska Dagbladet newspaper. However, Kahn remained at a loss as to why Jews in Malmö appear to be subject to more threats and violence than Jews elsewhere in the country. "More attacks are directed at Jews in Malmö. I haven't heard about it happening in other places in Sweden", he told the paper.

Via Disclose.tv: "The mummy of what appears to be an alien, dates back more than 2000 years and it seems it would be a humanoid", said a source at the Egyptian Antiquities Department, who provided details and photographs of the find but did so under condition of anonymity. The body of the perfectly preserved, carefully mummified alien was found buried in an ancient pyramid. The mysterious creature from between 150 and 160 centimeters was found by an archaeologist near Lahun when exploring a small pyramid near the Dynasty doceaba of Senusret II. Some online sources said that this is a species characterized by reptilian traits, such as the eyes, which are large and oval shaped. Inscriptions on the tomb of the mummy show that he was a counselor to the King and named Osirunet, meaning star or sent from heaven. The mummified body was buried with great respect and care, accompanied by a number of strange objects, which archaeological museum managers cannot identify. According to Egyptian sources, the alien mummy was discovered by Dr. Viktor Lubek, a Czechoslovakian citizen and retired professor of the University of Pennsylvania. Archaeologists located the hidden compartment while conducting an investigation into a small pyramid south of the main pyramid, Senusret II, which contains the Queen of the Pharaoh. At the site were also found some gold and clay mixtures covering the body, and traces of cloth linen like appearance; the skin covering the enigmatic being. Objects in the tomb include artifacts made of a synthetic type fabric that nobody could identify. No one has found similar elements in other Egyptian tombs, so the discovery is of great importance for current archaeology. The anonymous source which has obtained the information, also said that the discovery has caused great consternation among Egyptian officials, who want to keep it hidden until a plausible explanation is found for the strange mummy. The government has consulted a number of respected archaeologists, but to date none can explain the finding in ordinary terms. "The truth is, that every expert who has seen the mummy has concluded that it is not of earthly origin", said the source, and added, "there is a sense that this is an alien who somehow ended up advising an Egyptian King". But people in the government is moving away from that conclusion, which would support the new ideas that the ancient Egyptians had help from aliens in building their extraordinary civilization. Many Egyptians refuse to believe that their heritage came from outer space. Egypt is notorious as a country with a long Priestly tradition of magic, not only in Greek and Roman culture, but also in Jewish circles. Jesus Christ Himself knew and understood magic, and He grew up in Egypt. According to the Talmud, nine-tenths of the world's witchcraft had descended on Egypt. After all, God calls Egypt "my people" in Isaiah 19:25, when He says: "Blessed be Egypt my people".

Via What Would Tyler Durden Do?: In the wake of his divorce from Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise is distancing himself from Scientology and spends more time with non-Scientologist friends, because he feels Scientology has hurt him both personally and professionally. "Tom’s been leaning on friends who have different perspectives, getting advice on moving on from Katie as well as on everything he’s been going through with Scientology", an insider said. "He’s finally seeing that being such an advocate for Scientology hasn’t served him as well as he’d hoped — he’s gone through three divorces, and his public perception has sunk to an all-time low". Hopefully this is true because Tom Cruise is a genuinely nice guy by all accounts. Religion causes happiness and prosperity every day, but sadly enough also torment and death. When God manifested Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, we who once were far away from God were saved, became the Church, and got the Bible. The Jews unfortunately lost their Temple, Jerusalem, and Israel. But worst of all, the Jews lost the Bible - and all of it! "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children", Hosea 4:6. There is no wonder a terrible beast would come up out of the earth (a symbol for Israel, as the nations are symbolized with the sea), according to Revelation 13:11. The rejection of Christ and the New Testament - is not the sole reason for the sufferings of the Jews for two millenia. The real reason for all the sufferings and misfortunes of the Jews has rather to do with their rejection of the real Old Testament - the Septuagint (a translation in Greek basically from the older Hebrew Bible). Now the terrible and fraudulous Masoretic Text, creates havoc in the whole world to this day. There are many ugly ideologies, religions, and sects. Satan creates new ideologies and religions all the time, in order for humans to discriminate against women, torture animals, or go to war and kill fellow humans. Well, I'm sure Tom Cruise is smarter than that. Hopefully he will do the right thing and be baptized a Christian Orthodox.

Via The Times Of Israel: Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke out against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday, calling the Iranian President a "voice of unspeakable evil". Speaking in New York at the Clinton Global Initiative, Romney singled out Ahmadinejad toward the end of a speech that focused on foreign policy, especially regarding the Middle East. His comment came a day after the Iranian President, in New York for the United Nations General Assembly, said Israel had "no roots" in the Middle East, and that the Israelis "represent minimal disturbances that come into the picture and are then eliminated". But when the Iran war starts, it will not be just against Iran. Russia has already warned that should that happen it’s a security threat to their southern border, and they would take action too. China has stated similar objections and warnings, being that they get a lot of their oil from Iran. The coming war against Iran can thus escalate and draw the entire world into it, and will most likely become nuke, bio, chem etc. In an interview with AP Ahmadinejad said his "new world order" will inevitably replace the current era of what he calls U.S. bullying. Ahmadinejad said: "Now even elementary school kids throughout the world have understood that the United States government is following an international policy of bullying. I do believe the system of empires has reached the end of the road. The world can no longer see an emperor commanding it". In a speech Tuesday to the U.N. General Assembly, President Obama said the United States could not tolerate an Iran with atomic weapons. Ahmadinejad responded: "Everyone is aware the nuclear issue is the imposition of the will of the United States. I see the nuclear issue as a non-issue. It has become a form of one-upmanship". Military confrontation seems inevitable. Furthermore, a planned Israeli attack on Iran will open with a coordinated strike, including an unprecedented cyber-attack which will totally paralyze the Iranian regime and its ability to know what is happening within its borders, according to Disclose.tv. The internet, telephones, radio, and television, communications satellites, and fiber optic cables leading to and from critical installations — including underground missile bases at Khorramabad and Isfahan — will be taken out of action.

When asked about Israel's threat to attack Iran's nuclear sites - during a visit to New York for the U.N. Israel is bullying the United States over the alleged threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon, using the prospect of an Israeli military attack on Iran to force the hand of its much larger ally, Iran’s President said Monday. Americans should be insulted if their government takes marching orders from Israel, Ahmadinejad added. Via The Local: Popular comic book series Tintin had been taken off the shelves at the Kulturhuset Stockholm library after staff members slammed the portrayal of other cultures as "Afro-phobic". Following a storm of media criticism, officials at the Kulturhuset library in Stockholm have reversed their decision to remove Tintin comic books from its shelves, saying the move happened "too fast". "The decision happened too fast", Kulturhuset head Eric Sjöström and the organization's artistic director, Behrang Miri, said in a statement released late Tuesday morning. The reversal comes after a report in Tuesday's Dagens Nyheter (DN) newspaper in which Miri said the library planned to remove Tintin comics from its shelves. "The image the Tintin books give of Africans is Afro-phobic, for example. Africans are a bit dumb, while Arabs sit on flying carpets and Turks smoke water pipes", he told the paper. But after criticism of the move erupted in Swedish media on Monday morning, Miri changed his stance. "I wanted to highlight an opinion piece about issues of discrimination, but realize now that it's wrong to ban books", Miri said in a statement. However, Kulturhuset head Sjöström applauded Miri for prompting a discussion about discrimination. "The issues of discrimination, equality, and norms continue to be debated and discussed", Sjöström said in a statement. Sjöström added: "Behrang Miri is employed as an artistic director for children and young people for all of Kulturhuset, with a stated role of developing its artistic content. His mission is to continue working with issues of discrimination and I support him fully". In Belgium - Tinitin - one of Belgium's most famous export products recently went to court on accusations of racism. Since Tintin was written by Herge with the common and usual view of the 1930's people, the criticism is exaggerated. The Old Testament of the Bible is often anti-Semitic, and Moses who was a Levite and not a Jew, was often at odds with the Jews. Moses even put his tent outside of the habitation of the Jews, and married a woman from Ethiopia. Will the Bible be banned next, or maybe Asterix, which makes the Romans look like idiots?

Via The Swedish Wire: Anders Borg, Sweden's Finance Minister, said his government will never agree to let taxpayers in the largest Nordic economy bail out "ill-managed" banks elsewhere in Europe, according Bloomberg. He called the basic structure proposed for a common European banking framework "unreasonable". "The European Banking Authority, the European Central Bank, would automatically get a majority", Borg said in an interview with Bloomberg. "This entire regulatory framework that we’ve built up in the last few years is based on that when different countries get into a conflict, different banks get into a conflict, there will be mediation. You can’t leave that to an institution where the ECB and the euro countries have an automatic majority", Borg said. Borg continued: "We’ve worked hard to raise capital coverage requirements on Swedish banks". Borg concluded: "We’re not prepared, through the back door, to allow the French and others who were skeptical of this to undermine that deal and decide that it’s only the ECB that can decide capital coverage requirements". Borg is right. Sweden is not a member of the ill-managed eurozone and should leave the European Union as well. Sweden should instead chose closer cooperation with Russia, and leave room for other countries like Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, BeNeLux, The Baltics, and Ukraine to join Sweden.

Via Disclose.tv: A brilliant physicist has published a revolutionary paper citing 30 other scientific papers that reveal HAARP has incredible powers far beyond what most investigators of the high frequency energy technology suspect. Dr. Fran De Aquino asserts a fully functional HAARP network, activated globally, can not only affect weather and geophysical events, but influence space and gravity … even time itself! Now the network is almost complete with the activation of the newest HAARP facilities at the bottom of the world: the desolate and alien Antarctic. HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) now has installations criss-crossing the world and extends from pole-to-pole. The Antarctic facilities are near completion. De Aquino, whose paper High-power ELF radiation generated by modulated HF heating of the ionosphere can cause earthquakes, cyclones, and localized heating, lifts the veil hiding the HAARP wizards — and unlike the erstwhile Wizard of Oz, the HAARP wizards have some real power at their disposal. Most researchers of HAARP suspected for some time that the technology can trigger earthquakes and ignite hurricanes. De Aquino's paper tends to confirm those suspicions, but goes farther. Utilizing high frequencies, he says, HAARP can modify, even control gravity by blocking gravity waves locally. De Aquino claims heavy objects can be moved, even transported by creating "gravitational shieldings". But, the scientists stress, HAARP can do even more. The ELF technology can generate "Gravitational Shielding Mantles which are made by layers of high-dielectric strength semiconductor sandwiched by two metallic foils and insulation layers. The Gravitational Shielding Mantle can be made so that it is only 1 millimeter in thickness". De Aquino's contention is actually supported by the experiments of another physicist, Dimitriou Stavros from the TEI-Athens, Department of Electrical Engineering in Greece. Stavros successfully demonstrated an electromagnetic interaction with the gravity field. Yet, most astounding of all, De Aquino asserts that the ultimate power of HAARP is its capability to warp time. Time dilation, a relativistic effect described in Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, is created by mass approaching the speed of light and affecting gravity by warping space-time. De Aquino's paper shows that when subjected to a uniform ELF electromagnetic field, mass can be transitioned to a different time relative to outside observers. It is done artifically and at will. The analogy he draws envisions an ocean going vessel. He explains the ship "…is made of steel. When subjected to a uniform ELF electromagnetic field, with intensity and frequency the ship will perform a transition in time to another time. It is important to note that the electromagnetic field, besides being uniform, must remain with the ship during the transition to the new time. If it is not uniform, each part of the ship will perform transitions to different times in the future. In order for the electromagnetic field to remain with the ship, it is necessary that all the parts, which are involved with the generation of the field, stay inside the ship. If persons are inside the ship they will perform transitions to different times in the future because their conductivities and densities are different". Believers of the story, however, claim that famed inventor and electrical genius Nikola Tesla assisted in the experiment that involved a naval escort vessel named the USS Eldridge. The purpose was to create invisibility, but ended tragically when the ship was spatially transported and parts of it were trapped in temporal anomalies. It's strongly suspected that much of the HAARP technology is Tesla's work — updated and improved — and built upon the latest 21st Century scientific knowledge. So, just what will HAARP be used for? Weather wars? Triggering geophysical events? Manipulation of gravity? Warping space-time? Some think the technology is already driving people mad. The most dangerous man alive, Dr. Fran De Aquino, claims it's all of the above.

However, the Ministry said it cannot reveal details of its diplomatic efforts. Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said that Persson's and Schibbye's case was one of the toughest that the government has handled. The case of Dawit Isaak is even harder, Bildt said, adding that it requires "perseverance and diplomacy on many levels". Isaak's case is also a priority within the EU, where several statements have been made calling for his release. Isaak, a married father of three, came to Sweden from Eritrea in 1978 as a refugee. He worked as a cleaner to support himself and gained Swedish citizenship in 1992. He retained his Eritrean citizenship and returned to his home country at the end of the civil war there, joining Eritrea's first independent publication, Setit. After writing articles that were critical of the Eritrean regime, Isaak was arrested and imprisoned without access to a lawyer and without a trial. Isaak's brother, Esayas Isaak, told Sveriges Radio (SR) that Dawit Isaak had returned to Eritrea to work for democracy, knowing that the risks were high. "Dawit is constantly in our minds, day and night", he said. "We wonder how he is doing and when he will get out. The uncertainty is terribly difficult". Johan Persson, Martin Schibbye, and Esayas Isaak will join a manifestation for imprisoned journalists on Thursday 27th of September. It will take place at the Gothenburg Book Fair and is organized by the Swedish Union of Journalists and Reporters Without Borders.
Via WRAL: A suicide bomber attacked a Catholic church conducting Mass in northern Nigeria on Sunday, injuring and killing an unknown number of people in a region under assault by a radical Islamist sect. An Associated Press journalist heard the explosion after 9 a.m. Sunday in the city of Bauchi, which has seen a number of bombings and shootings blamed on the sect known as Boko Haram. The blast appeared to hit a parking lot alongside the St. John's Catholic Church in the city. Police and military surrounded the church and did not allow journalists inside the cordon. Yushau Shuaib, a spokesman for Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency, said a suicide bomber targeted the church. "Rescuers have evacuated the dead and injured", Shuaib said. Boko Haram, whose name means "Western education is sacrilege" in the Hausa language of Nigeria's north, has been waging an increasingly bloody fight against nation's weak central government. More than 680 people have died in drive-by killings and bombings blamed on Boko Haram this year alone, according to an AP count. The sect has demanded the release of all its captive members and has called for strict Shariah law to be implemented across the entire country. The sect has used suicide car bombs against churches in the past, most noticeably a 2011 Christmas Day attack on a Catholic church in Madalla near Nigeria's capital. That attack and assaults elsewhere in the country killed at least 44 people. An unclaimed car bombing on Easter in Kaduna killed at least 38 people on a busy roadway after witnesses say it was turned away from a church. Attacks against churches by the sect have waned in recent weeks. Nigeria's military claimed it killed the sect's spokesman and a commander Sept. 17 outside the city of Kano, potentially shaking up a sect that has continued attacks despite a tighter military presence in northern cities. The killing of members of the sect's senior leadership comes as the group recently changed some of its tactics and attacked more than 30 mobile phone towers throughout northern Nigeria, disrupting communications in a nation reliant on cellular phones.

When Alexander the Great was about to die 323 B.C., he sent for his generals and told them his last three wishes: Alexander's last wishes were: 1. That his coffin should be carried on the shoulders of the best physicians of the time. 2. That the treasures acquired - silver, gold, and precious stones - would be scattered all the way to the grave. 3. That his hands should stay swaying in the air, out of the coffin, in view of all... One of the generals, surprised, asked Alexander the Great for the reasons of his unusual wishes. Alexander explained: 1. I want the most eminent physicians to carry my coffin to show in this way that they are really powerless in healing power since they cannot save from death! So let not people take life for granted. 2. I want the ground to be covered with the treasures, so everybody can realize that we got the goods here, and that it remains here, because although we earned so much riches we cannot take anything with us when we die. 3. I want my hands to float in the air, to allow people to see that I came to this world empty handed and also leave empty handed, when my life-course is finished. The most precious treasure is indeed time, because it is limited. You can make money, but not for ever. Soon Alexander the Great let death conquer him and breathed his last.

Via Disclose.tv: Are the United States and Chinese navies joining forces to prepare for a maritime UFO attack in the Pacific Ocean? You may believe you've heard it all, but there's a wild rumor online that China and America are marshalling their combined fleets to defend from aliens who live beneath the ocean on hidden bases. Extraterrestrial craft are said to operate from underwater bases. Advanced U.S. sub-orbital weapons platforms represented as "tested" have actually been deployed from Vandenburg Air Force Base. These are armed with energy weapons. The rumors started last week, when witnesses reported Chinese military ships positioned off the coast of San Francisco. In addition, an unidentified Asian intelligence agency is claiming off-the-record there is an ongoing joint operation to prepare for UFO threats. "The verifications of the fleet operations have been many, there have been no confirmations from the U.S. side though the ships have been seen by every vessel that makes it offshore", a website stated. China is forced to carry U.S. responsibility, because the U.S. naval capability is sitting in the Persian Gulf at a moment when America is under a very real threat. UFO tracking has been moved from conventional to nano-technology with microscopic sensors being used to detect behaviors such as dimensional rifts and distortions in time, things only discussed in TV shows like Fringe and X Files. A classified memo says opposition is extraterrestrial and extremely aggressive and unfriendly. The threat, which represents a "clear and present danger" is however said to still be isolated to the Pacific Basin.

Via Disclose.tv: Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) has developed a novel variety of genetically-modified (GM) wheat that contains an altered protein and enzyme-suppressing mechanism that some scientists are now saying could cause serious problems for the human liver. A recent report compiled by several acclaimed experts in the field of genetics says that children born to parents who consume this GM wheat variety could actually end up dying before they reach the age of five. This shocking revelation comes at the same time as CSIRO has announced that Australia's Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) has granted the group approval for two field trials of both wheat and barley that have been modified in this untested way. Since the technology directly inhibits an enzyme in wheat that is very closely linked to glycogen, a polysaccharide produced in the liver, consuming wheat or barley that contains these genetic alterations will very likely lead to liver failure, and eventually death. "If this (technology) silences the same sort of gene in us -- as it silences in the wheat -- then, well, children who are born with this enzyme not working tend to die by the age of about five", says Professor Judy Carman, a biochemist and director of the IHER, Flinders University, who helped compile the report. "And adults with this problem, just kind of get more and more sick, and more and more tired, until they get very, very ill indeed". Australian regulatory authorities approved field trials of deadly GM wheat without any evidence of safety. "If CSIRO cannot provide immediate and adequate responses to these issues, we call on them to cease all field trials currently underway, stop all plans for human feeding trials, and agree to undertake the recommended safety testing", says Scott Kinnear, Director of the Safe Food Foundation.

Reagan had a close encounter of the third kind back in the 1950s when he was still an actor, MacLaine says, and the extra terrestrial being told him to ditch Hollywood for politics. The 78-year-old, who claims to have seen many UFOs from the front porch of her New Mexico home, says the 40th President of the United States was a fellow believer. According to MacLaine, Reagan confided in "I Love Lucy" star Lucille Ball about the eerie encounter, which took place when he was on his way to a party in Los Angeles with wife Nancy. Ball told her that a UFO landed and the alien emerged telling Reagan to quit acting and take up politics. But Reagan wasn't the only President who believed in unidentified flying objects, according to MacLaine. In an interview with the UK's The Daily Mirror, she says that President Eisenhower had three secret meetings with extra terrestrials at a New Mexico air force base in 1954. The actress claims to have seen numerous UFOs in her time. "One famous day, a friend of mine was sitting in my hot tub out there, and three UFOs came over and hovered for about 10 minutes", she says. "They are definitely there – the only question is why?" Maybe this story explains Regan's famous "Alien Threat Speech" at the UN. MacLaine, who now features in the hit British period drama Downton Abbey, added that she's keen to share her knowledge of UFOs with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "It's very important she knows who else is out there looking at her", she says, adding that she is used to people thinking she's crazy for believing in aliens.
Via American Power: With Arctic ice melting at record pace, the world’s superpowers are increasingly jockeying for political influence and economic position in outposts like this one, previously regarded as barren wastelands. At stake are the Arctic’s abundant supplies of oil, gas and minerals that are, thanks to climate change, becoming newly accessible along with increasingly navigable polar shipping shortcuts. This year, China has become a far more aggressive player in this frigid field, experts say, provoking alarm among Western powers. While the United States, Russia, and several nations of the European Union have Arctic territory, China has none, and as a result, has been deploying its wealth and diplomatic clout to secure toeholds in the region.

The Septuagint translation work around 250 BC, was performed by 72 scholars in Alexandria, Egypt, by six scholars from each of the twelve tribes of Israel. It is evident that Jerome was wrong on the Septuagint, and that the "Biblia Sacra" is a mistake in large parts and thus in principle unacceptable as it sides against the original Scriptures. Unfortunately, the Protestants and Martin Luther built their churches upon misconceptions. With all the revolutionizing revelations, ultimately the Western world will now have no other option than to get rid of the Latin alphabet and introduce the Greek worldwide instead as lingua franca. The learned Romans were in fact not stupid. They understood to use Greek and not Latin, and this will be what the future eventually will look like worldwide. Greek was also the language spoken before the tower of Babel. In Revelation 13:10 we read that "he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword". This is of course a dire warning and especially to Muslims, because 2 Corinthians 5:11 talks about the terror of the Lord Jesus Christ. God is of course the King of Terror, because He is the Lord Almighty. And make no mistake, Jesus Christ is that God - the God of Israel - because He was resurrected and cannot die. "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me", Luke 19:27. God will of course avenge the blood of all the saints in due time, according to Revelation 6:10. Luckily, Russia is a great Orthodox country and a mighty weapon in God´s hand - the ten horns - which hates Babylon the Great - that seven-hilled city in the desert (not Rome) - which will be burned according to Revelation chapter 17. Her smoke will rise up for ever and ever, according to Revelation 19:3. "And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning", Revelation 18:9.
Via Yahoo! News: Attorneys for the 480-pound death row inmate Ronald Post in Ohio, say their client is too overweight to be executed. "Indeed, given his unique physical and medical condition there is a substantial risk that any attempt to execute him will result in serious physical and psychological pain to him, as well as an execution involving a torturous and lingering death", reads the filing made on behalf of Ronald Post, 53, who was convicted of shooting to death hotel clerk Helen Vantz 29 years ago. The Ohio prison system relies on lethal injection in cases resulting in execution. Ohio is tied nationally with Kansas for the 13th highest obesity rate in the country, with 29.6 percent of its residents listed as overweight. Post, who is set to be executed by lethal injection on January 16, 2013, says that his executioners would encounter several problems, including difficulty finding a viable vein for injection and the likelihood that with his unusual weight he would break any gurney used in the process.

Via The Local: With a new film once again turning Swedes' attention toward Olof Palme, historian and political commentator David Linden argues the assassinated Swedish Prime Minister was, in many ways, more of an American politician than a Swedish one. More than two decades after his death, the life and career of Olof Palme (1927-1986) haunt and intrigue Sweden’s national psyche. He was Social Democratic Prime Minister between 1969-1976, and from 1982 until he was shot dead in 1986. The fact that his murder is still unsolved helped create a legend that has made Palme a secular Swedish saint. He is the closest thing Sweden has ever had to a U.S. president. A telling detail is that one still needs permission from the Palme family to access his papers. Olof Palme is intriguing in many ways and not just because of his tragic death. His public career lasted for almost four decades and he was a politician that could stir up emotions. According to former Social Democrat party leader Mona Sahlin, when she joined the party she did not become just a member of the Social Democrats, she "joined Olof Palme". On the other hand Ulf Adelsohn, who was leader of the rival Moderate Party from 1981-1986, has said of Palme that "no-one could make me so angry". This divisive mode is captured in the title of the new documentary chronicling his life: "Olof Palme: alskad och hatad" ('Olof Palme: loved and hated'). Olof Palme was a feared opponent and a formidable friend. He is famous for his aggressive and arrogant oratory. It is said that when he lost the 1976 election it was as a result of debating with the leader of the agrarian Center Party, Thorbjörn Fälldin, who succeeded him as Prime Minister. Fälldin was the opposite of Palme and he realized that he could not keep up with his opponent’s rhetorical skills. His strategy was instead to make Palme angry and frustrated by speaking slowly and appearing clumsy. It worked. The debate was held in the Scandinavium sports stadium in Gothenburg and those who attended the debate live voted for Palme, while those that saw it on TV and heard it on radio opted for Fälldin. On TV, Palme often appeared aggressive and condescending, while those who heard him live found the experience unforgettable. He was not a normal Swedish politician since, despite having aristocratic roots and being educated in the U.S., he chose to become a Social Democrat. And this is also where the key to understanding Palme lies: in many ways, he was more an American than a Swedish politician. When Palme became Prime Minister he maintained his connection to the Anglo-American world. In his archive, there are letters from the historian and John F. Kennedy adviser Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. and the economist John Kenneth Galbraith, among others. Despite a speech in which Palme likened the 1972 Christmas U.S. bombings of Hanoi to atrocities committed under the Nazis – a speech that led to the expulsion of the Swedish ambassador from Washington – U.S. statesman Henry Kissinger nevertheless said that there were only two Swedes you could talk to: Olof Palme and Pehr G. Gyllenhammar. What makes Olof Palme unique is that he was, and so far remains, Sweden's most international Prime Minister, and the only one who was educated outside of Sweden.
Via CBS Las Vegas: A Carson City recluse whose body was found in his home at least a month after he died left only $200 in his bank account. But as Walter Samaszko Jr.’s house was being cleared for sale, officials made a surprise discovery: gold bars and coins valued at $7 million. "Nobody had any clue he was hoarding the gold", Carson City Clerk-Recorder Alan Glover told the Las Vegas Sun, adding it was found stored in boxes in the house and garage. Based on just the weight of the gold alone, Glover estimates their worth at $7 million. Because some of the coins appear to be collector’s items, the value could go much higher, he said. Samaszko was "anti-government", Carson City’s Nevada Appeal reported, and a few conspiracy theory books were found in the home along with several guns. Glover said: "He never went to a doctor. He was obsessed with getting diseases from shots".
Via The Local: Police suspect the 28-year-old man who admitted to robbing an unconscious man and leaving him on the tracks of a subway station near Stockholm may have committed as many as 50 similar crimes. The suspect was arrested on Friday after footage of him mugging of drunken 38-year-old man who had passed out and fallen onto the tracks of the Sandsborg metro station was broadcast last week on TV3's "Efterlyst" ('Wanted') television program. After relieving the man of his valuables, the 28-year-old thief then left his victim lying on the tracks where he was later hit by a train. Under questioning by police, the suspect admitted to robbing the unconscious man, saying he didn't report that the man was on the tracks as he feared he would be blamed for the fall. Now police are looking into whether the 28-year-old may be behind as many as 50 similar thefts in which drunken subway passengers were robbed. "The only thing we can use against him is that he's been caught on film", said police investigator Dan Östman to the Expressen newspaper. He explained that police are now compiling a list of similar thefts on the Stockholm public transit system between June 1st and September 8th of this year. "We have a number of other crimes using similar methods that we're looking at", said Östman.

Via WND: A research article posted on the website of terrorist-turned-Christian Walid Shoebat contends the oldest known references to the Islamic deity Allah are not in Arabian records but in Babylonian artifacts. Ancient tablets describe "Alla" as a deity of "violence and revolution". "This link sheds new light since for many years we have been hearing various ideas on where Allah came from. Christian and Muslim scholars – as well as secular professors – presented numerous arguments on just who Allah really is", wrote Ted Shoebat, the son of Walid Shoebat. In his heavily footnoted project, he writes that historians have suggested Islam’s beginnings are found in the Persian religion Zoroastrianism, while others, including Christian writers, argue Allah was a moon-god in Babylon. The younger Shoebat, who already has published several books, said previously the oldest known reference to "Allah" was in northern and southern Arabia about the fifth century B.C., according to Kenneth J. Thomas. The new find, however, links the name to the Epic of Atrahasis, chiseled on tablets sometime around 1700 B.C. in Babylon. "The beginning of the Epic of Atrahasis describes Allah as how all of the gods labored endlessly in grueling work, under the rule of the patron deity Enlil or Elil. But soon revolt of the gods had erupted, and one deity of 'violence and revolution' [was] named Allah (spelled by the experts as Alla)", he wrote. Walid Shoebat said he believes this is the first time the connection has been made. Ted Shoebat said one of the early such references in the Epic of Atrahasis states: "Then Alla made his voice heard and spoke to the gods his brothers, Come! Let us carry Elil, the counselor of gods, the warrior from his dwelling". The younger Shoebat, whose first book was "In Satan’s Footsteps", grew up in Northern California, where he witnessed Holocaust denial, anti-Semitism, and anti-Zionism. Ted Shoebat explained that no one had found any ancient pre-Islamic inscriptions that describe Allah being "worshiped purely, without idolatrous connotations". "The question remains as to why no expert on Assyriology or Sumerology had even suspected that 'Alla' had a connection with the Arabian 'Allah' ", he wrote. "I checked the work of Thorkild Jacobsen, a foremost authority on Mesopotamian history and the dictionary of the translator, Stephanie Dally, and none make a connection between the Bablylonian 'Alla' and the Arabian 'Allah'. Allah of the Babylonian Epic of Atrahasis was most likely kept hidden by researchers who feared controversy or even concealed the find", he wrote. "In the epic Allah, which translators spelled 'Alla' (really pronounced the same way), was never even linked by any of the experts on Assyriology or any of the translators who wrote on the subject to the known Allah of Arabia and Islam. To those who accuse me of basing my conclusion, that Alla is Allah, on solely prejudice against Islam, I will present further evidence for my belief. It must be known to the reader that the author of the Atrahasis epic was one Ipiq-Aya who lived under the reign of the Old Babylonian king Ammi-Saduqa, and that he wrote it in the Akkadian language (the tongue of the Old Babylonian kingdom)", Ted Shoebat explained. "The 'Akkadians' it must be noted did not originally spring from Iraq, but had migrated from south Arabia, specifically Yemen, into Mesopotamia, where south Arabian inscriptions have been discovered, as in Kuwait on the Arab shores of the Persian gulf close to the borders of Iraq. The deities of Shamash (the Sun), and Ashdar/ Athtar (Venus) were both brought by the Akkadians from South Arabia into Mesopotamia. Athtar was originally a male deity of Venus for the Akkadian Arabs, but because when they had settled into Mesopotamia, they had equated Athtar with the Sumerian goddess of Venus Inanna, and would become the Babylonian Ishtar. This Athtar was also identified with the Arabian Allat, the female consort of Allah who was so revered by the Mesopotamians that they had called her Um-Uruk, or 'the mother of the town of Erech', an infamous city of ancient Iraq", he continued. "Since Allat was the feminine root of Allah, and was worshiped in Mesopotamia, and equal to the Sumerian Inanna, since they were both Venus goddesses, we should be able to find Allah associated with this goddess, based on inscriptions. In fact, we do, a Sumerian verse which directly identifies 'Alla' with the bridegroom of Inanna, Dumuzi or Tammuz who was an ancient deified king who once ruled the city-state of Erech, or Uruk, as the fourth king of its First Dynasty". He said it appears "Alla" "is an ancestral deity who was worshiped in Mesopotamia". The writings from the time talk about Allah’s death, he explained. "By the testimony of the Sumerians, it is clear that this Alla, or Tammuz, was once an infamous king of Erech, to only be deified by the superstitious masses of Mesopotamia".
Via The Local: Swedish furniture giant Ikea denied Monday that its 86-year-old founder Ingvar Kamprad had formally handed over the running of the business to his three sons. "Ingvar will no longer be there to give his point of view, give advice or support", Göran Grosskopf, chairman of Ingka Holding, the Dutch parent company that comprises all of the family-owned IKEA businesses, told the daily Expressen. But Grosskopf later denied the report. "With regard to the media reports about Ingvar Kamprad, I want to underline that we still have the pleasure of having him as Senior Advisor to the Supervisory Board for Ingka Holding BV", he said in a written statement to the Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) newspaper. Expressen also based its report on an interview with Kamprad's three sons Peter, Jonas, and Mathias Kamprad in an internal Ikea newsletter. But the company denied that Kamprad had passed the torch, stressing that he was still acting as an advisor, and said the interview with his sons did not imply that there had been any changes. "There has been no news", IKEA spokeswoman Ylva Magnusson told AFP. As an unlisted company with a complex ownership structure, gaining insight into the inner workings of IKEA is difficult. The sons have maintained a low profile over the years as they slowly moved up through the company, and have rarely spoken out in the media. In June, speculation that Ingvar Kamprad was preparing his departure from the unlisted group mounted when his three sons posed for a picture for Swedish financial daily Dagens Industri and a company spokesman detailed their individual responsibilities. Peter, "who turns 48 this year", was described as "the economist" who has taken control over the conglomerate Ikano, the Luxembourg-based company that runs the family's financial, property, insurance, capital management and retail holdings. Jonas, "who will be 46 this year", is "the creative designer and product developer" who sits on the board of Ingka Holding, Dagens Industri said. And Mathias, "who turns 43 this year", is described as "the businessman and initiative-taker in the troika" who focuses on Inter IKEA Holding, which owns the IKEA concept and brand. The Swiss magazine Bilan in June named Ingvar Kamprad Europe's richest man, with an estimated fortune of $37.5 billion including the holdings in the family-owned foundation. Ingvar Kamprad founded IkKEA in 1943 in his hometown of Älmhult in southern Sweden. He is known for being relentlessly frugal and has been harshly criticized for his ties to the Nazi youth movement during World War II, which he later described as the "folly of youth" and "greatest mistake of my life".

The FBI has begun introducing its brand new $1 billion biometric Next Generation Identification (NGI) system which is, in essence, a nationwide database of mug shots, iris scans, DNA records, voice samples, and other biometrics.
Via The Swedish Wire: The three sons of Ingvar Kamprad - Jonas, Mathias och Peter Kamprad - is taking over control of the IKEA furniture empire. The decision was made in connection with the founder's 86th birthday, according to tabloid Expressen. "It was a natural time for the family to more clearly define the three sons' future roles and responsibilities", said Ingvar Kamprad's spokesman Per Heggenes. IKEA is divided into three separate groups, and the three sons are today running one part each. "We will continue to focus on our core businesses and with the default values Ingvar has established in his so-called legacy", Göran Grosskopf, chairman of IKEA's parent Ingka Holding told Expressen. Ingvar Kamprad, a boy who began by selling matchsticks from his bicycle, is today ranked Sweden's richest man. In 1943, at the age of seventeen, IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad received a small monetary reward from his father for excelling in his studies. With this gift, Kamprad formally established IKEA, taking the name from his own initials and the first letters of the farm, Elmtaryd, and the village, Agunnaryd, where he grew up. Long before social responsibility became the buzzword it is today, IKEA was already holding to the standard. It now sets the standard in many ways, and this is by no means a cheap investment. That’s why its harvest is both perpetual and well earned. It is quite appropriate that the small monetary reward that the boy Kamprad received and then shared through IKEA has returned a momentum of good fortune a millionfold. IKEA generated more than $33 billion in revenue and nearly $4 billion in net income in 2011.

Via Ekathimerini: Tough negotiations are to resume this week in a bid to move toward an agreement on a tough package of some 11.5 billion euros in austerity measures demanded by Greece’s creditors. The talks will focus on some 4 billion euros in measures that have yet to be agreed, with the bulk of the package believed to comprise cuts to state spending, pensions, and social welfare benefits. The aim of Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras, is for the austerity package to be finalized in the next 10 days, so Greece can receive a 31.5-billion-euro loan, without which Greece faces defaulting on its debts. Whatever happens with the Greek economy, and if Athens tragically defaults on Greece's debts, we should remember that the Greek people anyway already a long time ago decided that the new Greek capital should be Alexandria, and then likewise that the spiritual capital was to be Constantinople. If Athens temporarily loses its position now, it will only be for the benefit of its children Alexandria and Constantinople, for the powerful uniting of people and spirit in glory. The Greeks of course want Constantinople to still be their spiritual capital, but the political capital of Greece should rather be Alexandria. After all, Alexander the Great was the last Pharaoh of Egypt. "Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance", Isaiah 19:25.

Sweden is a member of the EU although not the eurozone, and Borg said that "long and tough" negotiations lie ahead with "a large number of countries that are not members of the eurozone" deeming the proposal "unacceptable". "We cannot accept that the money of Swedish taxpayers is used to bail out foreign banks", he said. Anders Borg added: "The whole idea that we would be under the supervision of an institution where we have no voting rights, where (spending decisions on) our taxpayers' money could depend on decisions taken by an institution where we have no influence, is completely unacceptable". A team of 8 explorers from America and Europe claim to have found evidence of three man made pyramids "peaking" through the melting ice. The Antarctic climate, like the Egyptian climate, was very different many thousands of years ago. There is a legend the Antarctic pyramid is a portal to other planetary systems and that its function is to assist in the comings and goings of alien entities who have been part of the history of Planet Earth. There are said to be entities which came to our planet in great spaceships and interacted with those who lived on the planet, in the water, and below the surface. Legends speak of pyramids in the Antarctica, of the lost city of Atlantis being covered not just under water, but encased in ice. The great pyramid of Egypt, Thoth - also known as Enoch - built was the last of the 12 great world pyramids to be built. In The Myth of the Twelve World Pyramids author James Donahue explained the legend in March, 2006: "…The first, he said, is located under the ice in Antarctica. The others are in Tibet, Lumeria (a legendary lost continent in the Pacific region), Atlantis, Mexico, Peru, Europe, Australia, Canada, Middle East, United States, and finally Egypt". The kicker comes with this: "And when this book is found, the ice shall melt from this place, revealing starships created by this pyramid, left behind as reminders of their work and interaction on your planet". The Antarctic regions are melting and the Book has been found. The day is drawing near when the entire continent of Antarctica will be exposed, as will all of the ancient artifacts that once existed there.

"It isn't okay that children can subject their parents to financial ruin with just a few clicks on their phone", Consumer Affairs Minister Birgitta Ohlsson said in a statement. Her comments came after her ministry received an independent committee's report, entitled "App to date", with proposals on ways to improve consumer protection on the mobile phone market. The main author of the report, former Supreme Court judge Torgny Håstad, recommended that in disputes where parents contest exorbitant fees which they claim were charged by their children, the law should assume that the parents are dealing in good faith. The report also proposes that controls be strengthened to verify that the person who purchases something with a cell phone or tablet computer is indeed the owner of the bank account being debited. The report cited a case that made headlines in Sweden in April 2011, when two six- and seven-year-old brothers spent 50.000 kronor ($7.600) on berries for Smurfs in a game downloaded for free on an Apple iPad. Their parents were not required to pay after negotiations.

The pair was detained after illegally crossing the border from Somalia, and after a long and controversial trial were jailed for 11 years by an Ethiopian court in December 2011, having been found guilty of supporting terrorism and entering the country illegally. According to Ethiopian Minister of Justice Berhan Hailu, the two Swedes had "shown true regret for their crimes and behaved well in prison". Speaking with Ethiopian television shortly after the pair's release, Schibbye expressed his regret over entering Ethiopia illegally, calling it "the biggest mistake of my life". "A mistake that almost cost us our lives", he said. Sweden's Foreign Minister Carl Bildt hailed the Swedes' release via a statement released via his official Twitter account. "I warmly welcome that the Ethiopian authorities have now released Martin Schibbye and Johan Persson and allowed them to leave the country", Bildt wrote. I agree it was a great decision of Ethiopia to release the Swedes. Everybody should of course always have their passport on them, whether it's in your own country or abroad. I never leave home without my passport.
