Israeli Websites Under Heavy Attack

Via The Droid Guy:

The Israeli government said that its websites logged about 44 million hacking attempts following the bombardment of Gaza Strip since Wednesday.

Yuval Steinitz, the country’s Finance Minister, said that an unnamed government website was successfully hacked only once, but it was back online after 10 minutes.

In the United States, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta expressed his view last month, citing that the next battlefield is cyberspace.

Earth 2012 Changes: New Huge Land Cracks, This Time In Spain

Via Disclose.tv:

New dangerous cracks in the ground appear on our planet.

This time, they have been reported in Spain.

The Department of Emergency situations urgently requested the Geological Survey of Murcia to assess the cause of the "huge cracks in ground", which appeared after the recent heavy rains in the industrial park area "El Saladar", Totana, situated in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula.

The cracks extend along the industrial park in the direction of the sport city "Valverde Reina".

They have a length of more than 300 meters and a depth of more than two meters in some places.

The Cracks appeared a couple of days ago and open up gradually reaching a width of 40 to 50 cm.

According to europapress.es at the beginning of November, cracks appeared on top of a cliff at Cotillo, located at the northern end of Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa.

New Euro Currency Shows Woman Riding The Beast

Via EUobserver:

In Greek mythology, the Phoenician princess Europa was abducted and raped by the king of the gods, Zeus.

But her image will from next year replace pictures of windows and doors on euro banknotes as a security and decorative feature.

Meanwhile, counterfeiting euro notes has kept international law enforcement authorities busy.

Europol, the EU’s police agency, based in The Hague, said authorities seized over €19 million in counterfeit money in Columbia alone since 2006.

Elijah The Tishbite Is Doing Great

Elijah the Tishbite writes on his website - Two Olive Trees: "Almighty God has appointed Obama to lead America. He is a sign over the nation of America, which is appointed as an example of the evil firstfruits of the Earth which shall be judged in its DAY OF BURNING and CURSE".

Elijah also writes concerning the lost continent Atlantis that it "was a godless nation of people like America which shall meet the same fate when a giant asteroid hits off its east coast near Virginia".

In a vision Elijah tells how he "saw America sink under the surface of the sea after being hit by a large asteroid".

Elijah says this will be God's judgment over America "for turning away from Almighty God's righteous ways under His commandments and for allowing itself to be corrupted by corrupt evil leaders from the White House on down".

We should better be found as God's very elect chosen and faithful wherever we live.

Back From Mount Athos Again

I have been absent from blogging for a while, because I lived at the Koutloumousiou monastery at Mount Athos till yesterday, and there are no internet connections on the Holy Mountain.

Mount Athos is an autonomous Greek peninsula around the size of Albania, but richer than Greece.

No women are allowed there.

So it's a very quiet, peaceful place, and perfect for meditation in the word of God.

At the monastery we have the dogs - Bush and Tarzan - for company.

The recolt of olives this year was huge - I filled bucket after bucket with big and beautiful olives.

Well, it's the garden of Panagia, the All Holy Mother of God.

Even if we Orthodox Christians don't believe in the immaculate conception like the Catholics, we hold Panagia as greater than the universe, since She gave birth to the Creator of the heavens and the worlds.

I try to improve my Greek, but Greek is a difficult language indeed.

It's important anyway since I have my roots in Greece and the Greeks are the Sons (Laos) of God (El) = Hellas.

Christian Orthodox unity with the Catholics seems impossible today, not only because the dogmas of the Pope's supremacy and infallibility, but of course of the filioque doctrine which led to the great schism in 1054.

That heresy started already in 318, in fact with Bishop Arius and was then confirmed in 784 in Frankfurt, which unfortunately diminishes Christ to half-God.

We Orthodox Christians believe we don't know the essence of God, but His energies; the Son and Holy Spirit which emanates from His essence.

The Catholics make the crisscrossing very backward and with open hands.

Even if Rome accepts the position as coequal with the other Patriarchates - Jerusalem, Constantinople, Alexandria, and Antioch - thus renouncing it's supremacy and if Rome also backs from the filioque doctrine, the difference between Christian Orthodoxy today is still insurmontable.

The reason for that is the Theosis doctrine.

While we Orthodox Christians believe our way to salvation to become Sons of God is through God's uncreated energy, the Catholics believe God created the energy, which would make our deification impossible.

That is the biggest difference between these religions today.

But I personally still believe we all are brothers and pray that God's grace and illumination will spread through the whole Church.

The Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Scriptures two centuries before Christ is very genuine and divinely inspired.

And we sang the Psaltar psalms at the Church service which starts everyday at latest 03.00 am, and which continues for between 3 to 14 hours, depending on which Saints and Feasts are celebrated.

With such voices no instruments are needed.

The Old Testament was changed by the Jewish Masoretes in the 4th century AD, and that led Jerome to change the Old Latin Bible as well, and now later the Protestants unfortunately follow the Masoretes also, although they denied Jesus Christ.

But Orthodox Christians keep the capital letters for He and Him, when we refer to the Lord.

The veneration - not worship - of relics and icons is accepted in the Septuagint Bible, which also may explain why we only use the Septuagint in the Orthodox Church.

Above the door to the Priest's entrance in my Church there are ten levels of beautiful icons and sophisticated decorations above the Priest's door at the Koutloumousiou monastery Church, Metamorphosis, dedicated to the transfiguration of Christ, Elijah, and Moses.

The wall paintings of the Theotokos, Saints and early Martyrs, Paradise and Hell, the Zodiac etc are magnificent.

I like it when the Priest visits the icons and the people at the service with the incense, thus manifesting the continuity and unbroken bond between all generations and we are always present united together, both dead and living, at the Church service.

The New Testament is a divinely and most beautiful inspired comment to the Septuagint Bible, which is the eternal word of God.

Presently I'm at Thessaloniki, which is a most beautiful city.

I heard Barack Obama won the U.S. presidential election for a second term.

Everything still belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ and He's in charge over His creation, so we should not worry about the U.S. election results anyway.
