Via sott.net: This information about hair has been hidden from the public since the Vietnam War. Our culture leads people to believe that hair style is a matter of personal preference, that hair style is a matter of fashion and/or convenience, and that how people wear their hair is simply a cosmetic issue. Back in the Vietnam war however, an entirely different picture emerged, one that has been carefully covered up and hidden from public view. In the early nineties, Sally [name changed to protect privacy] was married to a licensed psychologist who worked at a VA Medical hospital. He worked with combat veterans with PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder. Most of them had served in Vietnam. Sally said, "I remember clearly an evening when my husband came back to our apartment on Doctor's Circle carrying a thick official looking folder in his hands. Inside were hundreds of pages of certain studies commissioned by the government. He was in shock from the contents. What he read in those documents completely changed his life. From that moment on my conservative middle of the road husband grew his hair and beard and never cut them again. What is more, the VA Medical center let him do it, and other very conservative men in the staff followed his example. As I read the documents, I learned why. It seems that during the Vietnam War special forces in the war department had sent undercover experts to comb American Indian Reservations looking for talented scouts, for tough young men trained to move stealthily through rough terrain. They were especially looking for men with outstanding, almost supernatural, tracking abilities. Before being approached, these carefully selected men were extensively documented as experts in tracking and survival. With the usual enticements, the well proven smooth phrases used to enroll new recruits, some of these Indian trackers were then enlisted. Once enlisted, an amazing thing happened. Whatever talents and skills they had possessed on the reservation seemed to mysteriously disappear, as recruit after recruit failed to perform as expected in the field. Serious causalities and failures of performance led the government to contract expensive testing of these recruits, and this is what was found. When questioned about their failure to perform as expected, the older recruits replied consistently that when they received their required military haircuts, they could no longer "sense" the enemy, they could no longer access a "sixth sense", their "intuition" no longer was reliable, they couldn't "read" subtle signs as well or access subtle extrasensory information. So the testing institute recruited more Indian trackers, let them keep their long hair, and tested them in multiple areas. Then they would pair two men together who had received the same scores on all the tests. They would let one man in the pair keep his hair long, and gave the other man a military haircut. Then the two men retook the tests. Time after time the man with long hair kept making high scores. Time after time, the man with the short hair failed the tests in which he had previously scored high scores. Here is a Typical Test: The recruit is sleeping out in the woods. An armed "enemy" approaches the sleeping man. The long haired man is awakened out of his sleep by a strong sense of danger and gets away long before the enemy is close, long before any sounds from the approaching enemy are audible. In another version of this test the long haired man senses an approach and somehow intuits that the enemy will perform a physical attack. He follows his "sixth sense" and stays still, pretending to be sleeping, but quickly grabs the attacker and "kills" him as the attacker reaches down to strangle him. This same man, after having passed these and other tests, then received a military haircut and consistently failed these tests, and many other tests that he had previously passed. So the document recommended that all Indian trackers be exempt from military haircuts. In fact, it required that trackers keep their hair long. Comment: The mammalian body has evolved over millions of years. Survival skills of human and animal at times seem almost supernatural. Science is constantly coming up with more discoveries about the amazing abilities of man and animal to survive. Each part of the body has highly sensitive work to perform for the survival and well being of the body as a whole. The body has a reason for every part of itself. Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly evolved "feelers" or "antennae" that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brain stem, the limbic system, and the neocortex. Not only does hair in people, including facial hair in men, provide an information highway reaching the brain, hair also emits energy, the electromagnetic energy emitted by the brain into the outer environment. This has been seen in Kirlian photography when a person is photographed with long hair and then rephotographed after the hair is cut. When hair is cut, receiving and sending transmissions to and from the environment are greatly hampered. This results in numbing-out. Cutting of hair is a contributing factor to unawareness of environmental distress in local ecosystems. It is also a contributing factor to insensitivity in relationships of all kinds. It contributes to sexual frustration. Conclusion: In searching for solutions for the distress in our world, it may be time for us to consider that many of our most basic assumptions about reality are in error. It may be that a major part of the solution is looking at us in the face each morning when we see ourselves in the mirror. The story of Sampson and Delilah in the Bible has a lot of encoded truth to tell us. When Delilah cut Sampson's hair, the once undefeatable Sampson was defeated.

Crying Queen Of Belgium Breaks Down As She Watches Her Husband Abdicate And Hand Over The Throne To Their Son
Via Mail Online: King Albert of Belgium abdicated earlier today after a 20-year reign, clearing the way for his son, Philippe, to take over as this fractured nation's seventh King later in the day. The 79-year-old signed away his rights as the Kingdom's largely ceremonial ruler at the Royal Palace in the presence of Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, who holds the political power in this 183-year-old parliamentary democracy. The country will get a new King when Prince Philippe, 53, takes the oath before the nation's legislators at the Parliament building a short walk across the Royal Park in the heart of the city. Belgium is kind of a Europe in miniature, with a French speaking region, a Dutch speaking region, and a German speaking region. Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo's attacking power socialism is a good example for Europe and shows the way forward toward centralization, elitism, and excellence. King Philippe will once again prove that Republican ideals almost are worthless and that only Constitutional Monarchy stands for a progressing, living and true democratic society, which establishes and empowers the people and promotes equal rights and noble behaviors and thoughts. Hopefully Belgium - the ancient Israeli tribe of Benjamin - under the rule of King Philippe, now once more will exert a de facto and efficient power over France, the Netherlands, and Germany. The whole of EU will feel the new powerful King at the center of Europe: Maybe even the Greeks will abandon their foolishness and grant their exiled King Constantine to come back and build a new better, more prominent, and stronger Greece! As Belgium is a Catholic nation, but with very special ties to Constantinople, we hope and pray that the Belgian people now will find its way back to the Christian Orthodox fatherhouse, and also pave the way for an Christian Orthodox revival under a modern and tolerant insignia and led by the Spirit of Christ and the Holy Septuagint Bible. Hopefully, King Philippe will strengthen the ties to both Russia and the United States, and he has of course a close friend in the Kingdom of Sweden.

Via EUobserver: Creeping racism and xenophobia in Europe may contribute to an upsurge of far-right MEPs following European Parliament elections next May. Speaking to reporters in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius, EU home affairs commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom said the EU has never before seen so many far right parties in elected bodies since the Second World War. "In many countries, xenophobia, populism, [and] racism is on the rise", she said, noting such political parties will most likely be sending emissaries to the EU’s Brussels-based parliament next year. "Some of these parties have existed for a long time in the European Union, some are quite new, some are very close to entering into government", she said. She described the growing phenomenon as counter productive for a struggling EU economy that is need of skilled workers currently not available in Europe, despite the high unemployment numbers. Immigrants make up just over 4 percent of the EU population out of a total of some 504 million people, says the EU statistical office Eurostat. The commission says immigrants are needed to counter declining birth rates and offset the widening age gap between the young and elderly. Most residence permits in 2012 were issued to Ukraine nationals at around 204.000, followed by US nationals at 189.000, and nationals from India at around 179.000. The immigrant arrivals and pro-migration policy of the EU are common canon fodder for Britain’s eurosceptic party, UKIP. On Wednesday, the right-wing party said it expects a strong anti-EU vote in the May EU elections. UKIP leader Nigel Farage. told Reuters in an interview that it will win most of the British votes in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland next May. "Lots of eurosceptic groups with varying shades of euroscepticism will get elected from lots of European countries", said Farage. But Farage's UKIP popularity claims do not match an ICM poll out Tuesday in the Guardian newspaper. ICM says his group polled at only 7 percent - down 5 points compared to last month. Meanwhile, Malmstrom’s concerns on the rise of EU-wide xenophobia come in the context of an informal meeting of EU justice ministers in Vilnius. Ministers at the morning round-table session discussed the European Commission report on immigration and asylum and the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Syria. The commission’s fourth annual report on immigration and asylum, published in June, noted a 10 percent increase in 2012 in the number of asylum applications. The increase is due in part to the Syrian crisis that has seen some 1.8 million seek refuge, mostly in neighboring countries like Turkey. Around 45.000 have attempted to enter the EU. For its part, the European Commission announced it would contribute an additional €400 million in humanitarian aid, on top of the €877 million pledged from member states and the EU budget. "We have from the commission added another €400 million to the neighboring countries who are doing a fantastic job for 1.8 million Syrians who have left the country", said Malmstrom.

Via The Sun: A 15-year-old girl has died after a shark "bit her in half" while she was swimming in the Indian Ocean. The gruesome attack struck when the French teen was only five meters from the shore in northwest Reunion, a French island near Mauritius and Madagascar. Incredibly, the friend she was with managed to swim to safety to call for help but was too late to save her. Gina Hoarau, the director of public safety in Saint-Paul, said: "Part of her body was carried away by the shark". She added: "The conditions of the attack are surprising. You wouldn't think that a shark would get this close to the shore". French politician Thierry Robert last year described a marine reserve near the bay of Saint-Paul set up six years ago to safeguard coral reefs as a "shark's larder". The girl, who lives in France with her mother, was on holiday visiting her father who works at a yacht club in the area. She was snorkeling in an unsupervized area where bathing is forbidden due to high shark numbers, officials said. It is the second deadly shark attack this year off the French island. And brings the total of shark-related deaths there since 2011 to five. But it is the first time in at least three decades that a swimmer, rather than a surfer, was the victim. Local authorities this month renewed safety warnings following an increase in shark numbers. A spate of shark attacks last year off Reunion island prompted France to hire a team of professional fishermen to kill around 20 of them, but Paris has refused to mount a more widespread cull.

Via The Local: A man found unconscious in a California motel room who left U.S. authorities baffled when he woke up only speaking Swedish, has been identified by a member of a Swedish medieval society as one of their kin. "I first met him when we were both members of a Middle Ages association called the Society of Creative Anachronism in the 1980s", Johan Cassel The Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA) told The Local. Cassel told The Local that the man identified in U.S. and Swedish media reports as Michael Boatwright spent several periods living in Sweden before the two lost contact, adding that Boatwright learnt to speak Swedish fairly well. "He could speak pretty good Swedish, although you could hear that he came from an English-speaking country. He had an accent", Cassel said. The SCA is an international association that brings together people with an interest in the Middle Ages and members typically engage in range of activities, such as jousting. According to Cassel, Boatwright was active in the SCA's Swedish regional chapter, currently known as the Kingdom of Drachenwald. Cassel recalls having met Boatwright while competing in jousting events and reports that the American, who originates from Florida, was a pretty accomplished jouster. "He was pretty good at jousting. One of the better performers", Cassel said. With no insurance, no income, and only $180 in his pocket, the Swedish-speaking 61-year-old man with no memory is proving a headache for hospital staff in Palm Springs where he awoke on July 6th, The Desert Sun newspaper reported last week. Boatwright awoke only able to converse in his adopted tongue and insisting that his name was Johan Ek. While this is a fairly common Swedish name, Cassel told The Local that Boatwright went by the name of Strongbow when he was in the fantasy world of the Middle Ages. "I don't know where he has got that name from, but I do recall that one of his closest friends at the time was a person by the name of Ragnvald Göransson Ek, so it is possible that he got it from there". Boatwright is currently recovering from his ordeal in the Palm Springs hospital and doctors have diagnosed him with transient global amnesia - a condition related to memory loss that is usually triggered by emotional or physical trauma.

Via What Would Tyler Durden Do?: There are many ways to respond to the sight of a hot stripper at a Southern peep show. Tossing bills their way comes to mind. One thing you should try to avoid is marrying them. I don’t know, sometimes they have histories of mental illness, abuse, kids from previous teen marriages, little warning flags of that sort. Kris Benson was all the shit when he came out of college, the best pitcher in the country, picked first in the MLB draft in 1996. Then he had to go and marry a stripper. Kris chose Anna because I guess her vagina looked amazing when he met her working the pole, and he didn’t think any other woman in the world could produce the same genitalia wow. Not surprisingly, she proved to be a big fucking nut job pain in the ass who fucked with his mind and his public image. Until last night, then she went and broke into his place with a gun and a metal baton and a bullet proof vest demanding money. I’d have to think this came as little surprise to Kris. He’s mostly lucky he’s not dead. All because he married a stripper when he didn’t have to. There’s a lesson in there that not a single man will choose to learn the easy way.

Via WND: A new documentary is the first effort to take an objective look at the prophecies of a 12th century Irish Catholic saint and what they portend for the future of the Church and Pope Francis. According to the Prophecy of the Popes, a time of vast biblical significance is now at hand. "The Last Pope?" includes medieval historians, Vatican-affiliated experts and authors. From Ireland to Italy, "The Last Pope?" tells a riveting story of eschatological intrigue. The film is based on the book, "Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here", by Tom Horn and Cris Putnam. "The Last Pope?" delves deeply into the prophecies of St. Malachy, an Irish saint and archbishop of Armagh who lived from 1094 to 1148. Malachy’s "Prophesies of the Popes" is said to be based on a prophetic vision of the 112 popes following Pope Celestine II, who died in 1144. Malachy’s prophecies, first published in 1595, culminate with the "final pope", "Petrus Romanus", or "Peter the Roman", whose reign ends with the destruction of Rome and the judgment of Christ. A modern version of Malachy’s prophecies was published in 1969 by Archbishop H. E. Cardinale, the Apostolic Nuncio to Belgium and Luxembourg. The film examines Malachy’s prophecies, which are a series of statements that purportedly provide clues as the identity of each of the 112 popes, in a critical light. Some of the statements refer to a particular town, while others make references to the coat of arms representing each pontiff. Skeptics have said the book is nothing more than a collection of phrases similar to the writings of Nostradamus. Putman says people have a right to be skeptical, and if Malachy’s revelations are correct, they should stand up to scrutiny using the scientific method. He goes on to say that they provide a fascinating insight into the history of the popes. "The way the scientific method works is you develop a hypothesis and you don’t try to prove a hypothesis, you try to disprove it", Putnam said. "It’s easy to find some kind of confirming evidence if you go fishing around. In a lot of these prophecies, I think that’s a valid criticism". However, he says one pope in particular stands out in the prophecy surrounding his reign. For Pope Benedict XV, who was pontiff from 1914 to 1922, Malachy’s prophesy says "Religio Depopulata" or "religion depopulated". "Religion depopulated, now that is a bold prediction. With all things being equal, you wouldn’t expect religion to be depopulated", Putnam said. "It might go up and down a little bit, the church might grow it might fall off a bit, but that is a risky position. It is easily falsifiable. If nothing happened during his reign, I would think that this prophecy would’ve been falsified, but what happens during Benedict XV’s reign"? "This was the onset of World War I, which was devastating. In the Soviet Union and Russia, we see the Bolshevik revolution. This is the beginning of militant atheism and the time that 200 million people left the church. Probably more than in any time in history, religion was depopulated, exactly when this prophecy predicted it would hundreds of years before". While the Catholic Church has had more than 400 years to dispute the procedures, a least one pope seemed to take stock in the prophecy. Pastor Angelicus, or the "Angel Pope", was given to describe Pius XII, who was a fierce anti-communist. Pius XII had a documentary made about himself, which he titled "The Angel Pope". "He was intimately involved in this project, and it even said how it exemplifies a day in the life of St. Malachy’s angelic shepherd in the heading", Putnam said. "The Catholic Church has had 400 years to make a statement disputing [Malachy's predictions], but here we have one of their infallible popes who obviously claimed it for himself. That begs an explanation from any scholar who wants to dismiss it". Malachy’s prophecies appear to even have an eerie prediction regarding John Paul I, who was only pope for just more than a month. Describing John Paul I, Malachy says he is "of the half moon". Interestingly, John Paul I ascended to the papacy on the day of the half moon. "What makes it even more chilling is he only lived for one lunar cycle; he died after 33 days", Putnam said. Following the death of John Paul I, evidence suggested that the pontiff may have been poisoned. The details are covered in the book "Murder in the Vatican" by Avro Manhattan. Regardless of the cause of his demise, a statement made by John Paul I seems to indicate he had some knowledge of his impending death. Cardinal Luciani, patriarch of Venice, was asked in Latin, "Do you accept your election as Supreme Pontiff, which has been canonically carried out?" His reply was unexpected as he said, "May God forgive you for what you have done in my regard". In just more than a month, he was dead, supposedly dying in his sleep. While Malachy’s prophecies have been around for centuries, Pope Francis is the final pope mentioned by the archbishop. If his prophecies are correct, Francis could be the last pope before the return of Jesus Christ. Dr. George Grant, a historian and former pastor who has written more than 60 books, says regardless of whether there is any validity to the prophecies, sooner or later Pope Francis and the Vatican will have to deal with issue. "It doesn’t matter whether or not it’s true; it matters whether people think it’s true and that they act in light of it", Grant said. "Francis and the Vatican will have to deal with this in some way, and in dealing with it they are in a sense giving credence to it. Do I think we need to pay attention to it? Absolutely".

In 1899 Nicola Tesla picked up a repeating radio signal that he believed was coming from outside of the Earth. Following the instructions left by Tesla a group of amateur HAM radio operators were able to receive this same signal in the mid-1920s. In 1928 Norwegian scientists experimenting with short wave transmissions into space began picking up Long Delay Echoes (LDEs). To this day LDE’s are still not understood fully. Finally, on February 11, 1960, the US Navy detected what was described as a "satellite" of unknown origin; a dark, tumbling object just beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. It wasn't American, and it wasn't the Soviets' either. The final piece of proof came in 1998, when astronauts aboard the International Space Station on flight STS-88 took numerous photographs of what they called "a black knight". Today we have no more information than we did in 1899 as to the origins or purpose of this object.

The German-born physicist and his wife signed it in 1932 and gifted it to an American friend named Harriett Hamilton. The auction house says Einstein writes in the German inscription the Bible "is a great source of wisdom and consolation and should be read frequently". The Bible's final price far exceeds its pre-sale estimate of between $1.500 and $2.500. The final price includes the auction house's commission. The auction house hasn't said who bought the Bible.
