"Crimea A Question For Nato": Swedish FM

Via The Local:

As pro-Russian forces took action in the Crimea, Sweden's Foreign Minister has said the EU, Nato, and the IMF must help Ukraine through its political turmoil.

"Crimea is a question for Nato", Bildt told Sveriges Radio (SR).

"Of course I am worried, but I am more worried about the financial situation and the corruption".

Bildt concluded that reform is possible, but "it will demand both political clout and financial support".

"The EU will be the deciding factor in the first matter, and the IMF in the latter," he said.

I agree that we in the west should do more for Ukraine.

The geographical, political, and religious location of Ukraine, make it preferable to re-integrate that country back to Russia.
