Iceland Issues New Bardarbunga Volcano Lava Alert

Via BBC News:

Iceland has raised its aviation warning level after a fresh eruption from a fissure near the Bardarbunga volcano.

However, Iceland's Met Office described the eruption as "a very calm lava eruption" which could "hardly be seen on seismometers".

The warning means planes will be banned from flying within 6.000 feet of the volcano peak.

Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupted in 2010, producing ash that disrupted air travel across Europe.

Sunday's eruption in the Holuhraun lava field area was "calm but continuous", authorities said.

It happened in roughly the same place as an earlier eruption on Friday morning, and is the third to happen in the area in the last week.

The latest eruption is more intense than Friday's with around 10 times more lava said Armann Hoskuldssonk, a geologist from the University of Iceland.

BBC transport correspondent Richard Westcott says that even if a big cloud of volcanic ash were emitted, it would not cause the same level of disruption to flights that brought Europe to a halt in 2010.

He says new equipment that airliners and engine makers have been testing would allow planes to identity and fly around ash clouds.

NATO Planning "Rapid-Deployment Force" Of 10.000 Troops To Counter Russia

Via RT:

NATO is reportedly working towards the creation of an expeditionary force composed of 10.000 troops from seven different member states as a result of escalating tensions with Russia over the conflict in Ukraine.

According to the Financial Times, the force’s creation will be spearheaded by Britain and involve contributions from Denmark, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway, and the Netherlands.

Canada is also interested in joining the group, but it’s not known what its final decision will be.

Although no formal announcement has been made, British Prime Minister David Cameron is expected to declare its formation at the upcoming NATO summit in Wales on September 4th.

The initial focus of Saturday’s EU summit has shifted from appointing two senior EU chiefs to discussing the crisis in Ukraine, European Ambassador to Russia Vygaudas Usackas told RIA Novosti.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday accused Kiev and its allies of backing peace talks only as a smoke screen to continue military operations, sidestepping allegations that Russia is funneling troops into eastern Ukraine to fight alongside separatist rebels.

Nasa Approves Rocket To Take Humans To Mars

Via Disclose.tv:

Nasa has approved construction of the world's most powerful rocket designed to take astronauts to Mars.

The $7bn (£4.2bn) Space Launch System (SLS) is scheduled to blast off for a test launch in November 2018.

It will potentially take humans to the red planet for the first time by the 2030s.

Nasa administrator Charles Bolden said: "We are on a journey of scientific and human exploration that leads to Mars. And we're firmly committed to building a launch vehicle and other supporting systems that will take us on that journey".

The SLS will have a lift capacity of up to 143-tons which means it can travel deep into the solar system.

Nasa's associate administrator Robert Lightfoot said: "Our nation is embarked on an ambitious space exploration program, and we owe it to the American taxpayers to get it right.

"After rigorous review, we're committing today to a funding level and readiness date that will keep us on track to sending humans to Mars in the 2030s – and we're going to stand behind that commitment".

The funding was approved after a smaller model of the rocket passed an internal review.

Dr. Tom Frieden On Ebola Outbreak: "It's Even Worse Than I'd Feared"

Via CNN:

"It's even worse than I'd feared", Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said Wednesday of the Ebola outbreak rampaging through West Africa.

"Every day this outbreak goes on, it increases the risk for another export to another country. The sooner the world comes together to help Liberia and West Africans, the safer we will all be".

Frieden spoke to CNN's Nima Elbagir in Monrovia, Liberia, where fear and anger over the largest Ebola outbreak on record has grown as health officials put up quarantines around some of the capital city's poorest areas.

More than 2.600 people have been infected by Ebola in Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria since the outbreak began in December, according to the World Health Organization.

Nearly 1.500 have died.

The world has never seen an outbreak of the Ebola virus like the one it is currently experiencing, according to the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

Speaking at a news conference in the Liberian capital Monrovia, Dr Tom Frieden said: "There is need for urgent action. The world has never seen an outbreak of Ebola like this..... I wish I didn't have to say this, but it is going to get worse, before it gets better".

Ten False Friends In The Swedish Language

Via The Local:

Never, ever take the Swedish language at face value. This is a language where "puss" means "kiss" and "kiss" means "pee". And that's just the beginning...

Swedish is a lovely language. Some call it a rich language, even.

But one thing is for sure.

There are some words that look very like English indeed but mean something completely different when you translate them.

And some of them are quite rude.

But whatever you do, don't just assume that because a word looks English that it is.

If you do, you might find mythical beasts in your dinner, women's underwear where it doesn't belong, and pets in the obituary section of the paper.

If you figured out all those three, you're a language genius and our hats are off to you.

For all the rest of you, click here for the ten best false friends in the Swedish language.

Warning, some are tiny bit naughty.

Large Holes Forming Near The New Madrid Fault And A Giant Crack In The Earth In North Mexico

Via End Of The American Dream:

Did you know that the number of big earthquakes during the first three months of 2014 was more than double the yearly average of what we have experienced since 1979?

And did you know that the number of earthquakes in the central and eastern U.S. has quintupled in recent years?

If you do not believe this, just keep reading.

We live at a time when earthquakes are increasing in frequency and severity.

And we are starting to see some very unusual activity in places that have been quiet for a very long time.

For example, large holes are starting to mysteriously appear in Indiana near the New Madrid fault zone.

And a giant crack in the ground nearly a kilometer long has appeared in northern Mexico.

Could these be indications that even greater earthquake activity is on the way?

Most Americans don’t realize that the greatest earthquakes in U.S. history happened along the New Madrid fault zone.

Back during the early part of the 19th century, a series of immensely powerful earthquakes rattled the entire eastern half of the nation.

Documents that we have from that era say that those earthquakes were so powerful that they were felt more than 1.000 miles away.

And there are many that believe that if we had a similar earthquake today that the damage caused would almost be incalculable.

That is why what has been happening in Indiana is so alarming.

According to reports, half a dozen mystery holes have been discovered on Mount Baldy…

El Cazador - The Shipwreck That Changed The World

The El Cazador (meaning The Hunter in English) was a Spanish brig that sank in the Gulf of Mexico in 1784.

On October 20, 1783 it was sent by Charles III of Spain on a mission to bring much-needed hard currency to the Spanish colony of Louisiana.

The ship sailed to Veracruz, Mexico, where it was loaded with approximately 450.000 Spanish reales.

King Carlos III enlisted his most trusted captain, Gabriel de Campos y Pineda, to captain the ship.

On January 11, 1784, it sailed for New Orleans, and was never heard from again.

Spain’s attempts to locate the ship were unsuccessful and in June 1784, El Cazador was officially listed as missing at sea.

Then, on August 2, 1993, the trawler Mistake, while fishing in the Gulf of Mexico fifty miles south of New Orleans, hung its net on a snag.

The trawler was captained by Jerry Murphy and its home port was Pascagoula, Mississippi.

When the crew hoisted the net and dumped the contents on the deck, they found the net was filled with silver coins.

The coins bore markings from the Spanish mint in Mexico, along with the date 1783.

Treasure from the ship was originally housed in a safe at the old Grand Bay State Bank building in Grand Bay, Alabama.

The Age of Exploration...Simply to utter the phrase is to summon images of majestic ships in full sail, laden with riches and captained by brave souls, ever-alert for signs of plundering pirates.

These are the forces that shaped the New World during the Era of Discovery.

But historians agree that perhaps the greatest influence of all did not come sailing over the waves.

Instead, it was a ship lost to the briny deep that paved the way for the growth of our own fledgling nation.

That ship was the El Cazador, "The Hunter," a Spanish Brig of War loaded with a vast treasury of freshly-minted silver and bound for the New World.

We may never know what mysterious force sank her.

But it is certain that her lost treasure holds the key to the birth of the nation we know today.

Every coin tells a story...but perhaps no coin in history tells a more riveting tale than the coins of El Cazador, "the shipwreck that changed the world".

Ten Injured At Malmö Anti-Nazi Demonstration

Via The Local:

A planned manifestation against the neo-Nazi Party of the Swedes spiralled out of control on Saturday in Malmö as police and protesters clashed leading to several injuries.

Ten people were taken to hospital, five with serious injuries with one of them requiring treatment in the emergency room.

Police arrested six people and took scores more into custody.

An estimated 1.500 people gathered in Limhamn square to protest against a planned appearance by the leader of the Svenskarnas parti (party of the Swedes) who was due to make a speech.

Even before the party leader, Stefan Jacobsson, showed up there were signs of potential trouble as counter protesters threw smoke bombs and fire crackers.

Chaos ensued when Jacobsson began speaking as his words were drowned out by protesters chanting "No Nazis on our streets".

He did manage to complete his speech after which there were clashes between demonstrators and the police.

Gaza & Robin Williams: Swedes' Google habits

Via The Local:

The internet search giant has revealed what Swedes googled for most over the summer period with the top 10 made up of diverse search topics ranging from sport to wasp stings.

Google compiled the data for the most popular search terms from the June - August period.

Top of the list was the World Cup while the Luis Suarez biting saga during the tournament made number four as Swedes searched for 'Suarez' to find out more about the controversy.

When the World Cup wrapped up in mid-July Swedish Google users switched their attention to other topics.

The Gaza crisis generated a lot of hits and was the ninth most popular term on the list, while the Ebola virus outbreak was of even greater interest reaching number three.

"When we talk about trending search terms so it is a large volume of searches that increase at a given time", Farshad Shadloo, head of communications for Google Sweden, told the TT news agency.

Topics close to home were also a hit with the posthumous radio show featuring the late Swedish musician Christian Falk reaching number five.

A similar show with Swedish poet Athena Farrokhzad figured high on the list too.

As the summer rolled into August Swedes had got fed up of sport as the World Cup and Tour de France had long since finished.

Attention then switched to the Ebola virus, while forest fires and wasp stings piqued the curiosity of Swedes.

The suicide of Hollywood star Robin Williams on August 11th quickly garnered search interest with the actor's death ranking second to the World Cup and nearly generated as many searches as the tournament itself.

Most searched for items (June - August):

1. World Cup 2014 2. Robin Williams 3. Ebola 4. Suárez 5. Christian Falk 6. Forest fires 7. Wasp sting 8. Athena Farrokhzad 9. Gaza 10. Tour de France

From Manipur To Kfar Hassidim: A Lost Tribe Makes Aliyah

Via Ynetnews:

Introducing: Sweden's Five Minority Languages

Via The Local:

Did you know there are five official minority languages in Sweden?

The Local's Isabela Vrba finds out what they are, how they're protected, and what rights their speakers have.

Sweden is one of the most multicultural countries in Europe with around 200 languages spoken, according to the Language Council.

But for a language to be inducted into the small group of official minority languages is no simple accomplishment, and only five languages in Sweden hold that honor.

And as widely spoken as English is, you may be surprised to learn that it's not one of them.

Sweden's five minority languages:

Finnish: There are 70.000 Sweden Finns in the country, mainly in Stockholm and the Mälaren Valley. Unlike Norwegian and Danish, Finnish comes from an entirely different language family to Swedish.

Meänkieli (Torne Valley Finish): Meänkieli is a close relative of the Finnish language, and is spoken by the Torne Vally Finns, the majority of whom live in the north of Sweden. There are around 50.000 up north and 5.000 in Stockholm.

Sami languages: Approximately 20.000 - 35.000 Samis speak different variations of the Sami language, and most live in northern Sweden. The language can be traced at least 2.000 years back in time.

Yiddish: Thousands of Jews arrived in Sweden in the 18th century, and now there are around 20.000 - 25.000 Jews living in Sweden, mainly in the larger cities. Their minority language is Yiddish.

Romani: There are 50.000-100.000 Roma living across Sweden. The different variations of Romani constitute the final minority language of Sweden. The language has been spoken in Sweden since the 16th century.

All five languages received their status when the parliament decided to join the framework convention for the protection of national minorities in Europe back in 1999.

To classify as a minority language, each must be classed as a language and not a dialect, and each must have been spoken in Sweden for at least three generations or approximately 100 years.

A Vegetarian Diet Will Make You Sick And Crazy

Via Disclose.tv

Vegetarians may have a lower BMI and drink alcohol sparingly, but vegetarian diets are tied to generally poorer health, poorer quality of life, and a higher need for health care than their meat-eating counterparts.

A new study from the Medical University of Graz in Austria finds that vegetarians are more physically active, drink less alcohol, and smoke less tobacco than those who consume meat in their diets.

Vegetarians also have a higher socioeconomic status and a lower body mass index.

But the vegetarian diet - characterized by a low consumption of saturated fats and cholesterol that includes increased intake of fruits, vegetables, and whole-grain products - carries elevated risks of cancer, allergies and mental health disorders.

Vegetarians were twice as likely to have allergies, a 50 percent increase in heart attacks, and a 50 percent increase in incidences of cancer. Wow!

More physically active, more economically prosperous, less likely to drink, less likely to smoke, and less likely to be fat ... yet still more likely to be in poor health, including more likely to develop cancer or suffer a heart attack.

Overall, vegetarians were found to be in a poorer state of health compared to other dietary groups.

Vegetarians reported higher levels of impairment from disorders, chronic diseases, and "suffer significantly more often from anxiety/depression".

So a vegetarian diet will give you mental problems as well.

Sweden: Rain To Continue "All Week" As Flood Worsens

Via The Local:

Sweden's weather agency issued a severe weather warning for the extreme rains and flooding in southern Sweden, adding that the rains are likely to continue all week.

Magnus Eriksson of the emergency services described as "extremely serious" the flooding in the small south-western town of Getinge.

"This has seriously affected the entire town", he told news agency TT.

The SMHI weather agency issued a class 3 warning - the most severe on its three-level scale - early on Tuesday afternoon.

It added that the rain would not subside until "early next week".

The home guard was called in to build a water barrier using sandbags, and several streets were flooded, leaving cars and belongings under water.

Several homes were flooded too.

Emergency services, who said the floods had reached a "catastrophic level", began evacuating nursing homes without power in the afternoon.

About 700 households remain without electricity. Three preschools in the town have been closed due to flooding in the hallways.

SMHI added that it expected up to 35 millimeters of rain in the next 24 hours, and additional rain storms over the next few days.

"There is a tremendous amount of water", the news agency's reporter Anders Andersson said at the scene.

"The creek running through Getinge is completely flooded, you can't even see the riverbed. I imagine the water has flooded more than one hundred metres outside its usual path."

Getinge is a town in southern Halland near the west coast of Sweden. It has a population of around 2.000 people.

Is It Possible Temple Wasn't On "Temple Mount"?

Via WND:

Biblical archaeologists, historians and prophecy teachers have speculated for years on the location of Solomon’s Temple.

Now, biblical historian, author and filmmaker Ken Klein believes he’s found evidence to pinpoint the Temple’s location.

Klein also believes the precise location for the Temple is historically and biblically significant for the return of Christ.

"In order for there to be a return of Christ, there has to be an Antichrist", Klein told WND.

"The Antichrist is mentioned in the book of Second Thessalonians as the one who will go into the Temple of God and proclaim himself to be God".

"That will be a defiling of that Temple, so yes, it’s significant to Christians because it fits into the stepping stones of prophecy that need to be fulfilled before Christ returns", he continued.

"Now, many Christians say the Rapture is going to happen and we will be out of here before that. That’s an academic discussion", Klein said.

"One thing we know for sure: Before Christ returns to set up His kingdom, there has to be a rebuilt Temple. So, is it going to be built on the Temple Mount where the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque are, where most people believe it will be built"?

"The Jews could tear down the mosque and build their Temple there, but that will be wrong", Klein said.

Klein believes that through his research, he has found the location of the (Solomon’s) First Temple and (Ezra’s, later also called Herod’s) Second Temple and, therefore, the location for the Third Temple yet to be rebuilt.

"I suspect it will be built on the southeast ridge of the Temple Mount", Klein told WND.

"The First Temple was built on the southeast ridge, and the Second Temple was built on the southeast ridge (in a location about 600 feet from the present wall) and we prove it pretty dramatically in my film".

Gold Coin May Be Key To Solve Sweden's "Pompeii"

Via The Local:

Archaeologists found the coin on Monday at a site on the island of Öland that's been compared to Italy's Pompeii.

A small team of archaeologists at Kalmar County museum, in collobaration with Lund University, has been digging at the site for the past three years.

The team is studying the Migration Period in Scandinavian history, from about 400 to 550 A.D., 400 years before the Viking Age.

While the team has found several hundred of the coin already, Monday's discovery was a big one, said archaeologist and project manager Helena Victor.

"This is the first one found in an archaeological context", she told The Local.

"Normally we find them while we're plowing the field. But we found this one inside a house where we found people who'd been killed".

The object, a small golden coin also known as a solidus, is from the Roman Empire and may be an important puzzle piece in mapping the island's history.

"We think it may have been the reason for the massacre at the Sandby Borg fort. And this is the only coin that wasn't taken", she explained.

"We found it on the edge of a posthole in the house. So maybe the robbers came to take the treasure there, and maybe they ripped the bag and one coin fell down into the posthole in the floor, and there it remained".

While Victor refused to put a price value on the coin, she said it was maybe equivalent to a new Volvo car.

The soldiers in the Roman Empire, she explained, earned approximately five if the coins per year, and likely worked for a few years and then brought their riches home.

"I think that the money was a good excuse to end a feud. So there was probably a feud, this was a very strong statement, not just a normal robbery - an excruciatingly evil statement to kill these people and just leave them", Victor explained.

"It was truly shameful. So to make a real statement you forbid them to burn the bodies. There are still memories 1.500 years later of these events, it's a dangerous place. Parents tell their children that they can't play there because it's a dangerous place. They don't remember the history but they remember it's dangerous".

The coin will go on display at the Kalmar museum this autumn together with other finds from the area.

The find is the latest in a long line of archaeological discoveries in Sweden. Within the last year, a secret hoard of gold figures and Viking coins from the Iron Age was uncovered in southern Sweden, a 16th-century kitchen was dug up in central Stockholm, and Swedish divers unearthed Stone Age "Atlantis" relics in the Baltic Sea.

Sweden's Bahta Denies Hassan To Claim Gold

Via The Local:

Sweden's Meraf Bahta held off a late challenge from hot favorite Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands to win the 5.000m final at the European Athletic Championships in Zurich on Saturday.

The promise of Dutch delight turned to despair - and ultimately silver and bronze consolation - in the dramatic closing stages of the women's 5.000m final on the penultimate day of the European Athletics Championships in Zurich.

"With 100m to go I knew that nobody could beat me", said Bahta.

"I was never afraid to lose the duel with Hassan. This is my first time running for Sweden. It is great for me to hear the anthem for the first time".

Less than 24 hours after winning the 1500m final (on a night when Dafne Schippers completed a 100m sprint double), Sifan Hassan was closing on what would have been a famous double of her own and a record-equalling fourth for the Netherlands as she surged from seventh at the bell to the shoulder of Sweden's Meraf Bahta coming into the home straight.

A similar tactic had won the 21-year-old Ethiopian-born woman her metric mile crown in convincing fashion but this time she came up against an unyielding rival in Bahta.

The Eritrean refugee had pushed the pace from two laps out and dug deep to hold on for victory in 15min 31.39sec.

Hassan had to be content with silver, finishing 0.40sec, with her Dutch team-mate Susan Kuijken coming through for bronze and Jo Pavey, the 40-year-old 10.000m winner from Great Britain, down in seventh.

The battle for first place in the medal table edged marginally in favor of France after wins for Renaud Lavillenie in the men's pole vault and Christelle Daunay in the women's marathon.

They have seven golds now, the same tally as Britain, but with 18 medals in all, three more than their rivals.

Lavillenie has been untouchable in 2014 and the Olympic champion extended his winning streak to a 20th competition with just two vaults.

After entering at 5.65m and clearing that at the first attempt, the Frenchman just needed a second time success at 5.90 to claim the gold.

Daunay is not quite a member of the Fortysomething club - she turns 40 in December - but the French marathon runner maintained the gold standard for the older guard in Zurich, pulling clear after halfway to win the 26.2 mile event in 2 hr 25min 14sec - 13 seconds ahead of the 38-year-old Italian Valeria Straneo.

Farther down the field, there was a race within the race to become the first finisher between 28-year-old triplets from Estonia.

It was won by Liina Luik, 29th in 2:41:18. Leila Luik was 43rd and Lily Luik 47th.

The seventh British gold came in the women's 400m hurdles.

Favorite Eilidh Child held on for victory in 54.48sec, 0.08sec ahead of the fast-finishing Ukrainian Anna Titimets.

However, Child's fellow Scottish Commonwealth Games silver medallist Lynsey Sharp was unable to hang on after going our hard and fast in a bold defense of her 800m title.

She was caught and passed 80m from the line by Maryna Arzamasova, the Belarus athlete prevailing in 1 min 58.15sec.

The consolation for Sharp was not just the silver but also a Scottish record: 1:58.80.

In the women's discus Croatia's Sandra Perkovic, the reigning world and Olympic champion, claimed gold with a 71.08m world lead and national record in the fifth round.

The men's hammer was a dramatic affair, Olympic champion Krisztian Parrs requiring a world leading throw of 82.69m in the final round to retain his title.

In the women's triple jump Ukraine's Olha Saladukha completed a hat-trick of titles, a second round effort of 14.73m edging out Russian Yekaterina Koneva by just 4cm.

Russia Dismisses Allegations About Concealing Content Of Humanitarian Cargo To Donbas

Via RIA Novosti:

Russian Foreign Ministry has denied the allegations about concealing the information about the content of Russia’s humanitarian cargo sent to help residents of southeastern Ukraine, the ministry said in a statement.

"[We] categorically deny malevolent fact spinning that the representatives of several governmental structures of Ukraine have been busy with recently. In particular, according to media reports, representatives of Ukraine’s Security Service maintain that the Russian side refused to deliver the cargo for the Donbas region through Kiev-controlled checkpoints", the statement reads.

"[They] spread allegations that we did not provide official information about the content of the humanitarian aid", the ministry added.

The ministry stressed that the itinerary of the aid delivery had been agreed with Ukraine and that the detailed list of the humanitarian cargo had been handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), who did not ask for additional specifications.

"That’s why attempts to make it look as if the Russian side is delaying the handover of documents to the Red Cross, are, to say the least, puzzling", Russia’s Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier today, the ICRC said that it would take Russia’s humanitarian convoy under its responsibility only after Moscow and Kiev reach an agreement and that trilateral talks are underway.

"Russian and Ukrainian sides should reach an agreement. Unless there is a detailed deal, the Red Cross cannot take the cargo under its responsibility", it added.

Earlier this week, Russia sent a humanitarian convoy to Ukraine of 280 trucks carrying about 2.000 tons of humanitarian aid, with 400 tons of grain, 100 tons of sugar, 62 tons of baby food, 54 tons of medication, 12.000 sleeping bags and 69 mobile electrical generators.

Russia proposed sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine’s eastern regions under the auspice of the ICRC last week.

A number of Western countries, including the United States, Britain, and Germany, called the initiative into question, saying the aid would be "unjustified and illegal", unless Russia secures Kiev’s consent.

Sweden Rejects Calls For Military Support To Iraq

Via The Local:

Sweden has said that it will provide humanitarian aid to Iraq but not military support to Kurdish forces battling the Islamic State in the war-torn country.

"The Swedish contribution will be fully concentrated on humanitarian support", said Fredrik Belfrage, who represented the Swedish government at a Friday meeting of the parliamentary committee on European affairs, to the TT news agency.

The EU's Foreign Ministers have meanwhile gathered in Brussels on Friday to discuss the escalating crisis.

"This is a crisis meeting in a crisis summer", Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said Friday lunchtime.

Bildt expressed support for the military support carried out by the U.S. and France, among others, but said that for 'legal reasons' Sweden was unable to do the same.

"We concentrate on what we can do best", he said.

The EU meanwhile is finding it difficult to unite behind calls from France, Italy, and the UK to intervene militarily in Iraq.

There is broad support however for providing weapons to the Kurdish forces but, according to a Reuters report, Sweden was opposed as Swedish law prevents exporting weapons to a war-zone.

China Releases Moon Footage Of Alien Bases

Via Before It's News:

Dr. Michael Salla has indicated that there is a Military Industrial Extraterrestrial Complex or MIEC, and that Earth is being assimilated by an alien agenda which also operates on Earth’s Moon.

It appears that the Chinese have confirmed that aliens exist.

The Chinese have probably been in contact with these aliens already.

That would explain why so many radio telescopes are searching for signals from aliens, and more being built as we speak, yet no reported signals from aliens were reported to the public.

China will be releasing Hi Res images taken by the Chang’e-2 moon orbiter, which clearly show buildings and structures on the moons surface.

NASA is said to have deliberately bombed important areas of the Moon in an effort to destroy ancient artefacts and facility’s.

Pictures yet to be released clearly show nuclear impact craters and building debris caused by explosions in an effort by NASA to destroy the truth.

China is moving toward full disclosure of the Extraterrestrial reality, if these images and future ones are verified genuine then NASA should be investigated for fraud and treason.

China will be releasing all the data and images from the Chang’e-2 in the coming weeks and months.

Have you ever wondered why we haven’t returned to the Moon again?

The truth is that NASA is hiding a very dark secret from us.

Is there an "Alien Base" on the Moon?

More and more people are coming forward with stories that might prove this is true.

Rumors say that there is an Alien Moon Base on the far side of the moon, the side we never see from Earth.

Did you ever wonder why the Moon landings stopped and why we have not tried to build a Moon Base?

It does seem like a better and easier idea than a floating space station with no access to any raw materials or supplies?

According to the NASA Astronaut Neil Armstrong the aliens have a base on the Moon and told us in no uncertain terms to get off and stay off the Moon!

Milton Cooper, a Naval Intelligence Officer tells us that not only does the Alien Moon Base exist but the U.S. Naval Intelligence Community refers to the Alien Moon Base as "Luna", and that there is a huge mining operation going on there:

That is where the aliens keep their huge mother ships while the trips to Earth are made in smaller "flying saucers".

LUNA: The Alien base on the far side of the Moon.

It was seen and filmed by the Apollo astronauts.

A base, a mining operation using very large machines, and the very large alien craft, are described in sighting reports, as mother ships exist there.

Robin Williams Murdered By Illuminati As Celebrity Sacrifice?!

Swede Reports "Expensive" Sex To Police

Via The Local:

A 55-year-old man in western Sweden illegally purchased sex from two women - and then called police to complain about their "outrageous" prices.

"I believe I've been cheated", the man said when interrogated by Gothenburg police. "They took way too much money from me".

At first the man just told police he had been robbed. But when police arrived at the scene, it was clear what he had been up to.

The man had met two prositutes in Rosenlund, the red-light district of Gothenburg, and paid 3.000 kronor ($436) to each of them for an hour of services, newspaper Expressen reported.

Buying sex is illegal in Sweden, and the man immediately confessed to his crime. When police asked why he had done it, his response was simple.

"That's just how it is. A man has his needs".

The man has now been charged for buying sexual services, and faces fines of 24.500 kronor ($3.561).

Sex trade in Gothenburg is a growing problem some say has developed into a full-blown slave trade, with police powerless to do anything about it.

Loss Of "Tree Of Hope" A Warning

Via Before It's News:

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the best selling novel, The Harbinger, has revealed that the Tree of Hope has not only died, but has been uprooted and destroyed!

But there’s more, and it’s not good.

In an article that was released in WND News Cahn states:

"The ancient sign of nearing national judgment has been manifested. The erez tree has fallen. The seventh harbinger now speaks of impending judgment. The Tree of Hope, the symbol of America’s resurgence … is dead", he explained.

"The keepers of the Tree of Hope did everything they could to save the withering tree. They even changed the soil in which it grew. But no matter what they did, the tree continued to wither away and die", said Cahn.

"Finally, in the spring of this year, the tree planted in the place of the fallen sycamore of Ground Zero, the symbol of a rising America, was uprooted. … The seventh harbinger is no more", Rabbi Cahn, WND News.

World's Oldest Eel Dies In Swedish Well

Via The Local:

The world's oldest European eel just died in its home, a well in a southern Swedish fishing town, aged 155.

Some people have ghosts in their attics.

Tomas Kjellman, resident in the little fishing town of Brantevik in Skåne, has always had an eel in his well.

"My family bought the cottage in 1962, and we always knew the housepet was included", Kjellman told The Local.

Its presence has been well-documented for more than a century.

But no more.

"Of course it's sad. I have memories of the eel from when I was a child", Kjellman said.

Åle the eel, as he was called, (ål is Swedish for eel) was quite the popular family member. When guests came over for the traditional crayfish party (more about that phenomenon here), the family wanted to show off the elderly eel.

But when they removed the lid from the well, they saw that the world's oldest eel had kicked the proverbial bucket.

"It was uncanny when we took off the lid and saw it in pieces. It had apparently been there for a while and had basically boiled".

The eel received no burial, but is in a freezer awaiting expert analysis - which may solve the riddle of how the sea creature got so incredibly old.

Although the body is in pieces, the entire spine is intact and the family is hoping to send along the head as well. Rings in the otolith, or ear stone, of the eel would reveal its exact age.

"Eels normally only live to be seven years old", Kjellman told The Local.

"They usually get so fat and their intestinal canals stop working. But this one just lived and lived and lived".

The eel had unusually and disproportionately large eyes - "grotesquely large", Kjellman remarked - due to a lifetime in the dark well, and may have undergone other odd changes as well.

In 1859 an 8-year-old Swede by the name of Samuel Nilsson threw the eel into the well.

While the act may be reminiscent of children throwing strange objects into toilets in modern times, it was in fact common practice to throw an eel in your well.

Many towns didn't have public water systems until the 1960s, and eels ate the flies and other creepy crawlies, keeping the house's water supply clean.

Since its drop into the dark in 1859, the eel has been featured in books and documentaries, and made multiple cameos on Swedish TV.

"It's an amazing feeling", Thomas Kjellman said. "Amazing that it lived so long. It lived during two world wars".

Åle the eel is survived by its sea-faring partner, alive and well in the well - but the junior eel is "only" believed to be 110.

"That one doesn't have a name", Kjellman laughed. "You can come up with one".

Evidence Of Time Travel Popping Up All Over The Internet

Via Before It's News:

The signs are unmistakable. The evidence is everywhere.

The laws of space and time sway and crumble as you read this. YouTube has exposed their presence. They are time travelers.

Loopers come in many forms.

Modern day men pose alongside pioneers in history books.

Hipsters stick out in crowds well before their time.

Cowboys use iPhones as they ride in stagecoaches.

DeLoreans appear parallel-parked alongside curbs in grainy footage from decades past.

Extras in Charlie Chaplin films casually chat on cell phones.

School children carry Macbook Airs … during the Cold War.

Can anyone really deny that time travelers are moving fluidly throughout history?

Ex-French President's Son In Riksdag Bid

Via The Local:

A 25-year-old man running for a seat in Swedish parliament revealed on Friday that he's the son of former French President François Mitterrand.

Hravn Forsne, 25, is aiming for a seat in Swedish parliament as part of the center-right Moderate party.

The story, however, made waves in Sweden on Friday when Forsne revealed for a local newspaper that he was the son of France's longest serving president, socialist François Mitterrand, who ran the country between 1981 and 1995.

Forsne's family tree has never been publicly confirmed, and as recently as 2012 his mother refused to address the topic when probed by the Aftonbladet newspaper.

In the interview, she revealed that she had been in a 15-year relationship with the French politician.

But when asked if Mitterrand was the father of Forsne, she responded "I'm willing to talk about my relationship with François Mitterrand. But I'll not talk about anyone else who is close to me".

Forsne gave an exclusive interview with the local Kungsbacka-Nytt newspaper on Friday, in which he revealed that he is indeed the son of the former Socialist Party leader, who died in 1995 of prostate cancer.

"I want to be judged for who I am, not who my father was", he said.

And when it came to his political influences, he added that it was sooner his journalist mother who shaped his political ideologies than his father, who he only met "five or six" times.

When contacted by The Local, Forsne said that he refused to speak to any national media on the topic.

Well, I was also myself conservative once.

Let us hope Hravn Forsne finds the right way which is the Left Party.

Indian Prophet Foretells Coming Russian Invasion?

Via Before It's News:

Sundar Selvaraj from Chennai India shares with us a prophetic warning God gave him for and about the U.S. and other nations.

Is this a a warning about a coming Russian invasion?

Selvaraj describes visions given to him by the Holy Spirit which point to end times events, signs which we can see in the headlines of the news, chilling as heard in Selvaraj own words.

Rick goes over those events and Sundar Selvaraj joins Rick at the 13:15 minute mark after being introduced to the show.

Most of these things are actually explained in the Bible.

In Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 it talks about some Gog, who is President of Rosh (Rome), Meshech (America), and Tubal (Istanbul).

What will happen and when it will happen we don't know.

But eventuelly something will of course happen.

We should also understand that our religious books have been severely manipulated for thousands of years to make peoples' beliefs to be in line with the wishes of the establishment.

India Central Bank Chief Warns Of Another Market Crash

Via Yahoo! News:

India's central bank governor, renowned for forecasting the 2008 financial meltdown, has warned that the world economy faces risk of another market crash as asset prices surge.

Increasing global financial instability stems from investors chasing ever higher yields, Raghuram Rajan, a former International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief economist, told the Central Banking Journal.

"True, it (another financial sector crisis) may not happen if we can find a way to unwind everything steadily", Rajan, who is famed for predicting the 2008 markets crash years in advance, said in the interview posted late Wednesday on the journal's website.

"But it is a big hope and prayer", said the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor, adding there is a risk of sudden price reversals and sharp spikes in financial volatility.

Rajan, author of the acclaimed 2011 book Fault Lines on how hidden financial fractures threaten the world economy, added he feared central banks globally "may be exhausting room" in their monetary-easing arsenal to cope with any economic crisis.

Rajan compared today's state of affairs as similar to the 1930s which was the era of the Great Depression.

"We are back to the 1930s, in a world of 'competitive easing'", Rajan said, referring to ultra-low interest rate policies pursued by the U.S. Federal Reserve, the Bank of Japan, and the Bank of England in a bid to stimulate their economies and spur growth.

"Back then, it was competitive devaluation (of currencies), but competitive easing could lead to competitive devaluation", says Rajan.

"If there were no consequences to competitive easing (to spurring economies), fine; but there are consequences", he warned.

Rajan left his post as professor at the prestigious University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and returned to India in 2012 to serve as government financial advisor and last September took over the Reserve Bank.

"Sweden has become kind of an experiment for privatization, especially in the education system, in healthcare and the homes for the elderly", Sjöstedt says.

"We want to ban all profit-making companies from these welfare sectors".

Sweden Resumes Financial Aid To Uganda After Suspending It Over Anti-Gay Law

Via The Swedish Wire:

Reuters said Sweden has resumed financial aid to Uganda after suspending some assistance in March over a law widely condemned by donor nations that increases punishment for homosexuals.

Retired Soldier Says He Spent 17 Years Battling Aliens On Mars!

Via Before It's News:

A former U.S. marine has sensationally claimed that he has spent nearly a decade battling Aliens on Mars.

The ex marine, who goes by the name of Captain Kaye, says that there are five human colonies on the Red Planet and he has spent 17 years fighting to protect them.

Serving in a space fleet known as the Earth Defense Force – that recruited military personnel from countries like America, Russia, and China – the one-time ex-naval infantryman was trainee to fly a variety of bombers and Star Wars-style space fighters.

He then spent his time protecting the colonies from martians, who presumably wanted to take over and make the planet their own.

Captain Kaye’s incredible testimony to ExoNews TV doesn’t end with Mars, either.

The first known mermaid stories appeared in Assyria, ca. 1000 BC.

The goddess Atargatis, mother of Assyrian queen Semiramis, loved a mortal shepherd and unintentionally killed him.

Ashamed, she jumped into a lake to take the form of a fish, but the waters would not conceal her divine beauty.

Thereafter, she took the form of a mermaid-human above the waist, fish below—though the earliest representations of Atargatis showed her as a fish with a human head and arm, similar to the Babylonian Ea.

The Greeks recognized Atargatis under the name Derketo.

Since then, many other mermaid stories have appeared in folklore from various cultures around the world.

For instance, the African water spirit Mami Wata is mermaid in form, as is the water spirit Lasirn, who is popular in folklore in the Caribbean Islands.

Hacker Says To Show Passenger Jets At Risk Of Cyber Attack

Via Reuters:

Cyber security researcher Ruben Santamarta says he has figured out how to hack the satellite communications equipment on passenger jets through their WiFi and inflight entertainment systems - a claim that, if confirmed, could prompt a review of aircraft security.

Santamarta, a consultant with cyber security firm IOActive, is scheduled to lay out the technical details of his research at this week's Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, an annual convention where thousands of hackers and security experts meet to discuss emerging cyber threats and improve security measures.

His presentation on Thursday on vulnerabilities in satellite communications systems used in aerospace and other industries is expected to be one of the most widely watched at the conference.

"These devices are wide open. The goal of this talk is to help change that situation", Santamarta, 32, told Reuters.

The researcher said he discovered the vulnerabilities by "reverse engineering" - or decoding - highly specialized software known as firmware, used to operate communications equipment made by Cobham Plc, Harris Corp, EchoStar Corp's Hughes Network Systems, Iridium Communications Inc and Japan Radio Co Ltd.

In theory, a hacker could use a plane's onboard WiFi signal or inflight entertainment system to hack into its avionics equipment, potentially disrupting or modifying satellite communications, which could interfere with the aircraft's navigation and safety systems, Santamarta said.

Flight From Sweden To LA Forced To Turn Back

Via The Local:

A Norwegian Air flight bound for Los Angeles had to turn around and land in Stockholm again on Monday afternoon after the captain noticed problems with the wing's take off and landing flaps.

The flight, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, circled above the Baltic Sea for 45 minutes to lose fuel before it landed again at Arlanda airport.

"At 15:47 we were informed by the pilot about the problem", said Britt Samuelsson, a spokeswoman at the Sweden's Joint Rescue Coordination Center.

"I don't know if it is because he can't get the flaps back in or can't get them out. But he doesn't want fly all the way without looking it over".

Shortly before 4:30pm the plane touched down again.

"There was no emergency landing. The pilot told us that he made a normal landing", Samuelsson added.

Norwegian has suffered repeat technical problems over the past year with its new Dreamliner aircraft.

After rows of delays, Swedish travelers have claimed millions of kronor in compensation from the airline, reported the TT news agency.

U.S. Official: Spy Plane Flees Russian Jet, Radar; Ends Up Over Sweden

Via CNN:

The Cold War aerial games of chicken portrayed in the movie "Top Gun" are happening in real life again nearly 30 years later.

A U.S. Air Force spy plane evaded an encounter with the Russian military on July 18, just a day after Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was downed by a suspected surface-to-air missile that Ukraine and the West allege was fired by pro-Russia rebels in eastern Ukraine.

The RC-135 Rivet Joint fled into nearby Swedish airspace without that country's permission, a U.S. military official told CNN.

The airplane may have gone through other countries' airspace as well, though it's not clear if it had permission to do so.

The U.S. plane had been flying in international airspace, conducting an electronic eavesdropping mission on the Russian military, when the Russians took the unusual action of beginning to track it with land-based radar.

The Russians then sent at least one fighter jet into the sky to intercept the aircraft, the U.S. official said Saturday.

The spy plane crew felt so concerned about the radar tracking that it wanted to get out of the area as quickly as possible, the official said.

The quickest route away from the Russians took them into Swedish airspace.

The U.S. official acknowledged that was done without Swedish military approval.

As a result of this incident, the United States is discussing the matter with Sweden and letting officials know there may be further occurrences where American jets have to divert so quickly they may not be able to wait for permission.

"We acknowledge a U.S. aircraft veered into Swedish airspace and will take active steps to ensure we have properly communicated with Swedish authorities in advance to prevent similar issues before they arise", the U.S. State Department said.

The incident was first reported by the Swedish media group DN.se.

Russian officials did not provide any immediate reaction about the encounter.

This was at least the second potentially-dangerous encounter between a U.S. plane and Russia over the past few months.

On April 23, a Russian Su-27 Flanker fighter jet buzzed within 100 feet of the nose of a U.S. Air Force RC-135U reconnaissance plane over the Sea of Okhotsk between Russia and Japan, a Defense Department official said.

Russian fighter jet nearly collided with U.S. military plane in April.

Russian and U.S. aircraft often encounter each other, both in Northern Europe as well as the area between the Russian Far East and Alaska.

But the official said the land radar activity by the Russians in this instance was unusual.

The ongoing civil unrest in Ukraine and the downing of MH 17 over eastern Ukraine on July 17, which killed all 298 people aboard, have heightened tensions between Washington and Moscow. Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was brought down by a suspected missile.

Pro-Russia rebels have denied allegations from Ukraine and the West that they shot down the Malaysian airliner, or that Russia supplied equipment used to shoot it down.

All these American military activities in the airspace of Scandinavia and Russia also probably could have led to the shooting down of the Malaysian MH17 aircraft.

Sweden should investigate possibilities to localize parts of it fleet closer to England to be able to shoot down NATO military aircrafts before they reach our territories.

What Happens If Ebola Arrives In The U.S.?

Via Disclose.tv:

Last week, a former Minnesota resident died of Ebola in Nigeria.

This week, the what-ifs are rampant.

The victim's wife said her husband had been scheduled to fly to Minneapolis in mid-August to attend a birthday party for two of their children.

"He could have brought Ebola here", she told The Daily Beast.

Two other Americans in Africa have been diagnosed with the disease, and Sierra Leone's leading Ebola doctor died of it yesterday.

Among the volunteers the Peace Corps is removing from three affected countries in Africa, two have had confirmed exposure to an Ebola victim.

They're being isolated outside the United States until they get medical clearance.

While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Monday issued both a Level 2 travel alert, recommending those traveling to Africa "avoid contact with blood and bodily fluids", and a Health Alert Notice to U.S. health care workers, experts and officials believe there's no need for panic.

Far from it, in fact: "It's extremely unlikely", said Thomas Geisbert, a virologist with the University of Texas in Galveston, Texas, who studies Ebola and other hemorrhagic fevers.

Cure For Ebola They Don’t Want You To Know About!!!

Via Before It's News:

Medical Director of the Natural Solutions Foundation, Doctor Rima Laibow, has an urgent message, one she has sent to the presidents of the four Ebola stricken countries, including a copy to the President of what may well be the next country afflicted, the United States since an Ebola-stricken volunteer is being flown to Atlanta for treatment, according to her latest video and an article at Sky Ships Over Cashiers, with what she considers a proven cure for Ebola, but one TPTB don’t want us to know about.

And the kill rate for this disease of convenience, genetically engineered to be more deadly than ever before, just happens, I am sure coincidentally, to be the exact number depopulationists like Bill Gates and George Soros have wet dreams about: 90%.

The U.S. government study (declassified in 2009) which showed definitively that Nano Silver at 10 PPM is the definitive prevention and therapy for Ebola virus "somehow" got "overlooked".

We do not know how long before that the work actually took place, but the U.S. civilian authorities knew not later than 2009 that there is a cure, treatment and prevention for Ebola virus...

Listen to her, go read the entire piece over at Sky Ships and ask youself after reading it, why the study from 2009 was classified in the first place and why after it was declassified, is everyone still ignoring it?

July Box Office Falls Short Of $1 Billion

Via Box Office Mojo:

The final results are in for the month of July, and they aren't pretty.

Domestic box office revenues totaled $966 million, which is down a massive 30 percent from last July.

This also marks the first time since 2002 that the month of July fell short of $1 billion.

The 30 percent year-to-year decline is the steepest drop in Box Office Mojo's database, which dates back to the early 1980s.

The only rival is January 2011, which was off 29 percent (thanks in no small part to Avatar's impact on January 2010).

What explains this historic decline?

Simply put, it can be chalked up to an abnormally weak lineup of movies that weren't appealing enough to get people in to theaters.

Nothing performed on par with Despicable Me 2, The Dark Knight Rises, or Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and nothing was expected to, either.

Moviegoers aren't just going to show up out of habit—there needs to be something worth seeing.

The problems began over the Fourth of July weekend.

Assuming that Transformers: Age of Extinction would be much bigger than it was—an incorrect assumption, given the poor reception of the last two installments—the studios avoided scheduling any heavy hitters over the holiday.

While Tammy managed to do fine, Deliver Us From Evil and Earth to Echo couldn't find an audience, and overall business wound up down 42 percent year-to-year.

It was an uphill battle from there, and it took the entire month to recover.

On their own, though, many of the movies in July did well.

The big winner was Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which earned $180.6 million in its first three weeks.

In just 19 days, it out-grossed predecessor Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which makes this one of the biggest success stories of the Summer.

China Confirms New Generation Long Range Missiles: Report

Via Yahoo! News:

China has acknowledged the existence of a new intercontinental ballistic missile said to be capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads as far as the United States, state-run media reported Friday.

A government environmental monitoring center in Shaanxi said on its website that a military facility in the province was developing Dongfeng-41 (DF-41) missiles, the Global Times reported.

The DF-41 is designed to have a range of 12.000 kilometers (7.500 miles), according to a report by Jane's Strategic Weapon Systems, putting it among the world's longest-range missiles.

It is "possibly capable of carrying multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles", the U.S. Defense Department said in a report in June, referring to a payload of several nuclear warheads.

China's military is highly secretive, and the Global Times said it had not previously acknowledged the existence of the DF-41.
