US Soldier Claims He Has Spent 17 Years Battling Aliens On Mars

Via Disclose.tv:

The retired officer, known only as Captain Kaye, also claims to have served in a secret "space fleet" run by a multinational organisation called the Earth Defense Force.

The ex-naval infantryman, who uses the pseudonym Captain Kaye, says he was posted to the Red Planet to protect five human colonies from indigenous Martian life forms.

He claims he then spent nearly three years serving in a secret "space fleet" run by a multinational organiZation called the Earth Defense Force, which recruits military personnel from countries including the US, Russia, and China.

In testimony released to ExoNews TV, Captain Kaye said he was trained to fly three different types of space fighters and three bombers.

He added that training took place on a secret moon base called Lunar Operations Command, Saturn’s moon Titan, and in deep space.

Captain Kaye says he retired after a 20 year tour of duty, describing a retirement ceremony on the moon that he claims was presided over by VIPs including ex-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

Captain Kaye’s testimony reveals that the main human colony on Mars is called Aries Prime which is located inside a crater.

Aries Prime serves as the headquarters for the Mars Colony Corporation.

According to Captain Kaye, the air is breathable on the surface of Mars, and the temperature could be warm at times.

He claims that there are two indigenous species on Mars, both of which are highly intelligent.

One of these was a Reptilian species that was very aggressive in defending its territory.

The other was an Insectoid species that was equally capable of protecting its territory.

He said that indigenous Martians are not particularly interested in expanding their territory, only maintaining it.

Captain Kaye said that as long as the Mars Defense Force and Mars Colony Corporation did not encroach on the territory of the indigenous Martians, there would be stable relations.

After serving 17 years of a 20 year tour of duty, events changed dramatically when virtually all combat personnel from the Mars Defense force were asked to retrieve an extraterrestrial artifact from a cave sacred to the indigenous Reptilians. Captain Kaye described how over 1000 men and women were killed in a subsequent battle and only 28 of his colleagues, including himself, survived.

Seven Signs That An Angel Is With You

Via Disclose.tv:

Angels exist on a different vibrational frequency to humans, and most of us are therefore unable to see them but we can often feel their presence around us.

Angels have a way of making their presence known and it is not necessary to be deeply religious or to have a strong spiritual belief to sense the presence of an angel.

1. The temperature in the room may change.

You may feel a sudden rush of warm air or a warm glow surrounding you. You may also get goose bumps or tingling at the back of your neck or head.

2. An intriguing fragrance may appear out of nowhere.

It may be an unusual aroma that you have never smelt before, and you will probably not be able to identify it.

3. Different colored lights may appear from nowhere.

You may see shafts of light streaming down or shooting across the room or may catch glimpses or sparks of light or notice shadows. Do not be afraid, you will not see an angel appearing until you are ready to, and angels of course have no desire to harm you.

4. You may hear angelic voices trying to communicate to you.

If the voice is merely a whisper or is muffled, send a mental message for the angel to speak louder. Do not assume that the angelic voice you are hearing is a product of your imagination.

5. White feathers may suddenly appear in the most unlikely and unexpected of place.

This is a sure sign that the angels are with you and are ready to answer your prayers…

6. Angels may appear to you in your dream state with a solution to a particular problem.

By the morning, you will feel more positive and clearer about which direction to take…

7. You may feel as if there is someone in the room with you.

(As if someone has just brushed past you) or you may experience the sensation that a presence is standing behind you perhaps with their hands on your shoulders.

Often the angels will make their presence very obvious. A common experience is when you are in a bookshop or a library perhaps unconsciously looking for guidance and suddenly a book will fly off a shelf and drop at your feet.

This is angels at work, trust in them and you will receive more signs.

They are here to help us on life path.

Sweden Economy Shows Unexpected Growth

Via The Local:

Sweden's economy expanded slightly more than expected in the third quarter of the year, according to statistics published on Friday.

Statistics Sweden, the country's government-funded facts and figures agency, reported that GDP grew by 2.1 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period last year.

This was an 0.3 percent increase on the second quarter and slightly more than the 0.2 percent rise that analysts expected.

The chief economist at Swedish bank Handelsbanken told news agency TT that domestic consumption was driving economic growth.

Jan Häggström said that "residential investment" and rising property prices were also having an impact.

Rival bank Nordea's leading economist Annika Winsth said that "stronger retail sales than expected" were the most crucial reason for the growth.

"We have weak exports and mediocre investments, except in construction", she said in an interview with Swedish television network SVT, adding that "consumption is the engine of the economy".

Retail sales rose 4.5 percent in October compared with the same month last year, according to Statistics Sweden, also a larger increase than analysts had expected.

A Very Large Asteroid Will Hit The Earth On September 24, 2015

Via Before It's News:

Revelation 3:3 – Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

The Lord will come like a thief to those who are not awake spiritually and do not repent of their sin.

If you are sleeping, He will come at a time that you do not expect Him and you will not know at what time He will come.

The governments of the world know that a very large asteroid will hit the earth on September 24, 2015, and they have publicly announced it already through the French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on May 13, 2014.

They will attempt to nuke this asteroid, which will break it into smaller pieces that will reign down all over the earth causing massive destruction.

There will still be a very huge chunk of this asteroid that will hit (most likely in the Atlantic Ocean).

They believe this is the fulfillment of the 6th seal of Revelation that starts the “Day of the Lord”, the final day of Daniel’s 70th week, which will last for one year.

Before the 6th seal opens, the first 5 seals will begin to open in 2015, including world war, economic collapse, famine and plague.

They believe that the book of Revelation was written as a roadmap for them to follow to usher in their “New World Order”.

They need to have martial law in place, as well as give the United Nations much more control before September 24, 2015, so that when this event takes place, they can maintain control and power over the people after the asteroid hits.

World War III will begin in 2015 and a peace treaty will come into effect in September 2015, right before this event takes place, as a fulfillment of the prophecy, "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape", 1 Thessalonians 5:3

The Lord has provided a way of escape for everyone who calls on His Name.

Turn from your sin and ask Jesus into your life.

He is the One who created you and planned the beginning from the end. We are now at the end of 6000 years from Creation and He is about to usher in 1000 years of peace on earth, when He returns with His Bride to rule and reign in December 2016, after the year of darkness.

The first rapture of the Church, where Jesus will take His Bride (those who have accepted Christ and are living for Him) to a place prepared for her to escape all of these things that are coming on the earth, will take place on the Day of Atonement on September 23, 2015, just before the asteroid hits the earth.

Swedish Honeymoon Murder Verdict Delayed

Via The Local:

British businessman Shrien Dewani will have to wait two weeks to see whether a South African judge throws out charges that he organized the murder of his Swedish bride on their honeymoon.

After hearing two days of argument on a defence bid to have the case dismissed, Western Cape High Court judge Jeannette Traverso said on Tuesday that she would give her decision on December 8th.

Dewani's lawyers had applied for his discharge at the end of the state's case, arguing that the evidence against him was so weak he should be acquitted without even having to mount a defense.

Dewani, 34, is accused of organising the murder of his 28-year-old Swedish bride Anni during their honeymoon in South Africa in November 2010.

Prosecutors say he hired hitmen to kill her in a staged hijacking because he is a gay man who felt trapped into marriage by family pressures.

Dewani says he is bisexual and loved Anni.

The driver of the hijacked taxi and one of the hijackers - both serving long jail terms for the murder -testified that Dewani hired them to kill his wife.

Dewani's lawyer, Francois van Zyl, argued that their evidence was full of contradictions and "cannot safely be relied upon".

According to South Africa's Criminal Procedure Act, an accused can be declared not guilty at the close of the prosecution's case if the court feels there is insufficient evidence to show he or she committed the crime.

Dewani returned to Britain within days of the murder and fought athree-year legal battle to avoid being extradited to South Africa, claiming he had mental health problems, including depression and post-traumatic stress.

But he was sent back to South Africa in April, where he was found fit to stand trial, and is being held at Cape Town's Valkenberg hospital for the duration of the court hearing.

Nobody Wore Bras To The American Music Awards

Via WWTDD:

Teens, old chicks, strange foreign chicks with pasties who nobody remembers inviting.

All the girls went braless last night at the American Music Awards.

After watching two minutes of sunken eyed anorexics talking fashion on E!, I discovered braless is a new style trend.

I suppose it’s better than tiny hats.

The Jenner girls don’t belong at a music awards show, but you ditch the bra and you’re on every short list, including the Cosby mentor program speed dial.

Obama Could Go To Prison!

Via WND:

A mass email from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Sunday tried to drum up support by warning President Obama is in danger of impeachment, or even worse, jail time.

The email – with subject line "Impeachment? Prison??? – Sign now, stand with President Obama" – claims Obama "took bold, courageous action this week to fix our nation’s broken immigration system", but now is "under attack".

"Republicans think this is their chance to destroy the president", the email reads. "They’re threatening lawsuits, shutdowns, impeachment? One Republican congressman even suggested President Obama be thrown in jail!"

The DCCC then implores Democrats to show they’re “still standing with President Obama” and "have his back" by signing an online petition.

Former Alaskan GOP Senate Candidate Joe Miller noticed the email and posted it on his blog, "Restoring Liberty".

Stolen Ancient Gold Rings Returned By Post

Via The Local:

A collection of gold rings which date back some 3.000 years mysteriously turned up at the offices of a Swedish newspaper on Friday after they had gone missing from a museum collection.

The rings were sent anonymously to the arts desk at the Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) daily and it has emerged that they belong to the National Museums of World Culture.

The rings had apparently gone missing without anyone noticing.

According to a letter enclosed with the package the rings originated from Cyprus around 1.200 BC and Rhodes around 1.100 BC.

The letter also detailed alleged deficiencies with regards to security and expertise at the museums agency.

The items have been reclaimed by the museum and the incident has been reported to the police.

A museum spokesman revealed that the rings have perhaps been missing since 2007 when the collections underwent a major reorganization.

"The whole story is remarkable, but indicates that the rings have been in the possession of someone who has taken care of them. We are very happy that they have resurfaced and can be exhibited", said Lars-Erik Barkman at the agency to SvD.

World War 3: Would Russia Win?

Via ValueWalk:

The U.S. is scrambling to catch up to Russia in the new nuclear arms race — just in case World War 3 really is on the horizon.

If the world really is on the brink of World War 3, which country would come out on top?

An expert said not that long ago that the U.S. would lose to Russia, and with all of Russia’s shows of military strength, it appears as if Moscow thinks they can win too.

Even U.S. officials appear to be concerned that Russia has surpassed Washington in nuclear capabilities, according to Forbes contributor James Conca.

Russia has been aggressively spending money on developing tactical nuclear weapons.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said they aimed to develop a guaranteed deterrent to protect against NATO and the U.S.

Moscow apparently thinks that its own tactical nuclear weapons are better than what the U.S. and NATO has.

Russia has 5.000 nuclear weapons of various tactical classes, while the U.S. has only 300 tactical B-61 bombs.

Conca points out that the U.S. will be hard-pressed to catch up to Russia in the renewed nuclear arms race, as many of the nuclear missiles built during the Cold War have been destroyed.

Also the U.S. created treaties limiting its ability to develop more nuclear weapons.

Half Of Young Swedes Are In Temporary Jobs

Via The Local:

Under 25s in Sweden are increasingly being given fixed term contracts rather than permanent roles, according to new figures seen by Sweden's Trade Union Confederation, LO.

Temporary employment in Sweden is now back at the same level it was when the country was on the brink of financial crisis in 2007, according to a report by Statistics Sweden due for release on Friday and leaked to Sweden's Trade Union Confederation and Swedish news network SVT.

The study shows that 20 percent of the country's workforce has a job with a limited time frame.

Among young people aged 16 to 25, the figure shoots up to 52 percent.

The report also suggests that a higher proportion of women lack permanent roles compared to men.

"It's an absurd situation", the union's vice president Tobias Baudin told SVT.

"We see that many young adults today sleep with their phone under their pillow or stand with their phone in the shower, terrified to miss that job that means they can get out and work for a few hours", he said.

In total, more than 618.000 people are in temporary jobs in Sweden, according to the new figures, with those in the the hotel, restaurant, and leisure industries worst affected.

The 2015 Pirelli Calendar Is Here

Via WWTDD:

Back in the days when you could eat steak rare and colonic with Camel smoke and bang your secretary over a metal desk, men kept pin up calendars on their wall.

Now that move will cost you two weeks in a re-education camp beneath Vassar’s rugby field.

Pirelli has been publishing a calendar of models since 1964, distributed to product resellers in shops and garages across the western world.

Most of those calendars have since been replaced by Federal workplace rules and regulations written in Spanish and Hmong.

But so long as photographers are interested in getting good looking models to distant tropical ports for the purposes of mild rape, these calendars will never go away.

A couple years ago Pirelli tried turning their calendar into some G-rated artsy shit but several dudes from Big-O tires flew to the Pirelli headquarters and burned the building down.

Now tits are back to provide context.

Skeleton Shows Swedes Among "First" Europeans

Via The Local:

Swedes are more closely related to to the first Europeans than either the French or the Germans, according to DNA taken from a 37.000 year-old skeleton.

The skeleton belonged to a man who lived in Kostenki, which is part of what is now Russia.

Dubbed "the first European", the skeleton was examined by experts as part of a study into the early origins of Europeans.

"From a genetic point of view he is a European. In fact he is more closely related to the Danes, Swedes, Finns, and Russians than with the French, Germans, or the Spaniards", said Eske Willerslev, director of Center of Excellence in GeoGenetics at the University of Copenhagen, and one of the researchers involved in the study.

The purpose of the study was to find out when the divergence between the people who became Europeans and Asians occurred.

Scientific journals reported that analysis of the Kostenki skeleton also revealed the presence of Neanderthal genes.

Previous scientific findings indicated that there was a brief period when Neanderthals and humans bred together.

"What we can see from Kostenki and other ancient genomes is that for 30.000 years there was a single meta-population in Europe. These Palaeolithic hunter-gatherer groups split up, mixed, dispersed, and changed, and through ancient genomes we can trace the genetic thread of their shared ancestry", Willerslev added.

The study of ancient DNA material confirmed that the human populations now predominant in Eurasia and East Asia split more than 36.200 years ago.

Researchers used new techniques to analyze genetic samples from the left tibia of a young man who died 38.700-36.200 years ago.

Sweden Second In EU For Granting Citizenship

Via The Local:

Sweden granted citizenship to a larger proportion of foreign-born residents than any other EU member state except Hungary in 2012, according to figures released on Tuesday.

Statistics released by the EU's statistics agency, Eurostat, show that 7.8 percent of foreigners living in Sweden were given citizenship in 2012.

Hungary tops the table, with 12.8 percent of international residents scoring citizenship rights.

Austria comes bottom, with just 0.7 percent of foreigners granted citizenship.

The research shows that across Europe, increasing numbers of people are being granted citizenship rights, which include the chance to vote in and have a passport from the country where they are living.

More than a third of new citizens are under 25.

A quarter are Moroccans, Turks, Indians, Ecuadorians, or Iraqis, according to Eurostat's figures.

Previous research has also revealed that Sweden took in almost 20 percent of the EU's asylum seekers in 2013, more than any other country in the union.

Earlier this month, Sweden’s Migration Board said it expected 83.000 asylum seekers to move to the country by the end of the year, 3.000 more than it previously predicted.

French Plane Spotted In Swedish Airspace

Via The Local:

Following unconfirmed reports that a Russian plane entered Swedish airspace on Saturday, the Swedish military has told The Local that the aircraft actually came from France.

"We can confirm that it was a French aircraft and now we have to investigate the details of this", Jesper Tengroth a press officer for the Swedish military told The Local on Monday.

His comments followed earlier allegations in Sweden's Expressen newspaper that a Russian plane was "a couple of kilometers on the wrong side of the border" but "quickly turned eastward" when a Swedish Jas Gripen plane approached.

Sweden's Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist could not be reached for comment on Monday by Swedish media including The Local.

It is unclear where Expressen's information came from.

Jesper Tengroth told The Local he was unable to give any further details about the French plane.

Commenting on the Swedish newspaper's false claims about Russia, he said:

"They have to take responsibility for their sources".

Officials in France have yet to comment on the Swedish military's confirmation of a French plane in Swedish airspace.

The claims about a possible Russian violation emerged just a day after Russia's President Vladimir Putin went on German television and insisted that his country had not violated international airspace.

"Our exercises exclusively take place in international waters and international airspace", he told German broadcaster ARD.

Last week, Sweden's top military commander said there was now "proof" that a foreign submarine had been in Swedish waters in October, but that it remained unclear what country the vessel had come from.

Following the announcement on Friday, Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist told The Local:

"I think that there is a new security situation in the Baltic area and in the Baltic Sea. We see more exercises, we see more intelligence activities".

Last month, Swedish intelligence officials released a picture of a Russian jet flying closely beside a Swedish intelligence plane, in what they described as "a growing trend" in international airspace.

The news followed revelations in September that two Russian Su-24 fighter-bombers had been detected flying over Swedish airspace to the south of Öland. The planes were one kilometre inside Swedish territory for about 30 seconds.

Carl Bildt - who was Sweden's Foreign Minister at the time - described the flights as "the most serious aerial incursion by the Russians during my years as Foreign Minister".

Unfortunately media is very anti-Russian.

The world lives in a time of unbalance after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

NATO has become too strong and a monster.

The only way to change this is for Sweden, Germany, and Benelux, to join Russia in a new military alliance.

Roswell UFO Researcher Claims To Have Picture Of Aliens

Via Disclose.tv:

Roswell researcher and author Tom Carey told the crowd at American University yesterday that he has the “smoking gun” to prove once and for all aliens are real.

According to an article by WTOP in Washington, Carey claims to have a picture of an alien, but did not have the picture with him.

Carey has been researching the alleged crash a flying saucer in Roswell, NM since 1991.

He is a co-author and researcher of a couple of books on the topic with his research partner Don Schmitt.

He told the crowd that the images are on Kodachrome color slides and that their research on the legitimacy of the slides has been promising.

Carey says: "What’s interesting is, the film is dated 1947. We took it to the official historian of Kodak up in Rochester, New York, and he did his due diligence on it, and he said yes, this filmstrip, the slides are from 1947. It’s 1947 stock. And from the emulsions on the image, it’s not something that’s been Photoshopped like today. It’s original 1947 images, and it shows an alien who’s been partially dissected lying in a case".

He also described what the slides show: "3 and a half to 4 feet tall, the head is almost insect-like. The head has been severed, and there’s been a partial autopsy; the innards have been removed, and we believe the cadaver has been embalmed, at least at the time this picture was taken".

He says he received the slides from a couple in Texas. "The woman was a high-powered Midland, Texas, lawyer with a pilot’s license. We think she was involved in intelligence in World War II, and her husband was a field geologist for an oil company", claims Carey.

The UFO community has been excited about the American University presentation, which was largely made up of very credible researchers.

The event was a panel discussion called UFOs: Encounters by Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials. And American University described as including "four prominent national figures", and is based on the Honors Colloquium, Alien Contact: Science and Science Fiction, by professor and filmmaker John Weiskopf.

The panel also included investigative journalist and author Leslie Kean.

The title of the event was taken from her New York Times best-selling book UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record.

Another panelist was Dr. Richard Haines, the co-founder of the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP), and is a former NASA researcher.

However, the WTOP article says the “The most riveting presentation of the night came from retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Charles Halt, one of the witnesses of a famous series of UFO sightings in England in 1980 known as the Rendlesham Forest incident".

Apparently, WTOP did not think much of Carey’s claims, but it is hard to fault them since claims are all they were. It is difficult to get too excited when a UFO researcher says he has the "smoking gun", but he can’t show it to you yet.

I think the public often characterizes UFO research as a lot of spectacular claims, without spectacular evidence.

Leslie Kean was quick to distance herself from the alien pictures. On Facebook she wrote: "I had nothing to do with the Roswell part. Just want to make that clear".

An alleged student that who was part of the honors course also commented on her Facebook explain why they added Carey to the panel.

Brian Shin wrote: "I’m a student in the honors course. The Roswell section was deemed as a necessary balance in order to show different faces of the ufo investigation. While some could say that it could damage the integrity of what others are trying to accomplish, having Tom Carey acted as a immediate juxtaposition for those new to serious investigations into ufos. The judgments were left for the audience to make rather than the panel, by trying to make different parts of ufo investigation come together".

Carey and Schmitt’s books are full of very interesting and credible testimony.

Perhaps Carey would have been more convincing had he shared that information, which is not well known to the general public.

Although many in the UFO community do believe Carey to be a credible researcher, the general public does not know him from the charlatans they hear about in the news.

Now the pressure is on for Carey to produce this amazing evidence.

He says the images will be revealed early next year.

North Korea To Send Special Envoy To Russia

Via Yahoo! News:

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will send a special envoy to Russia next week, both countries announced Friday, in a trip expected to focus on how to boost ties at a time when his country faces deepening diplomatic isolation.

The North's official Korean Central News Agency said Choe Ryong Hae will visit Russia soon, but didn't specify the dates or the exact purpose of the trip.

Russia's Foreign Ministry later said Choe would visit Nov. 17-24.

The ministry said in a statement that Russia hopes to discuss trade and economic ties, the situation on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia, and other international issues.

It said Choe will visit Moscow as well as Khabarovsk and Vladivostok in Russia's Far East.

Choe, a senior Workers' Party official, is considered as one of Kim's close associates.

He visited Beijing last year as a special envoy and told Chinese President Xi Jinping that North Korea would take steps to rejoin stalled nuclear disarmament talks.

Russia and North Korea maintain cordial ties, but are not as close as they were during Soviet times, when Moscow provided significant aid and support to Pyongyang.

For North Korea, better ties with Russia could provide a much-needed economic boost because its ties with China — its longtime ally and main aid provider — are not as strong as they once were.

China was angered when North Korea ramped up tensions last year with its third nuclear test and threats of nuclear strikes against Seoul and Washington.

China has supported a tightening of U.N. sanctions and cracked down on North Korean banking activities.

Russia, for its part, has been seeking to bolster ties with North Korea amid a longtime effort to strengthen its role in Asia.

"Russia could be looking to increase its influence in the Far East as its relations with Western nations have taken a turn for the worse due to the situation in Ukraine", said Koh Yu-hwan, a North Korea expert at Seoul's Dongguk University.

Choe's trip also appears aimed at easing North Korea's diplomatic isolation, said analyst Cheong Seong-chang at the private Sejong Institute.

He noted this week's announcement of a free-trade agreement between rival South Korea and China.

The U.N. General Assembly's human rights committee is expected to vote next week on a resolution on North Korea's rights record drafted by the European Union and Japan.

North Korea has been pursuing improved ties with South Korea and the U.S. in what analysts say is an attempt to attract aid, but Seoul and Washington have said the North must first take steps toward nuclear disarmament.

North Korea released two American detainees last weekend, but President Barack Obama squelched speculation that might pave the way for a new round of nuclear talks, saying the U.S. needs more than "small gestures" before reopening any high-level dialogue.

Choe was also a member of a high-profile North Korean delegation that visited South Korea in early October and agreed to resume senior-level talks.

The talks, however, haven't moved forward because of tension over propaganda leaflets that South Korean activists send by balloon across the border into North Korea.

Swede's Big Poker Win May "Trigger" Gamblers

Via The Local:

The success of Swedish poker ace Martin Jacobson, who pocketed $10 million at the World Series, could encourage gamblers to bet even more money, say addiction experts issuing warnings in Sweden.

The success of Swedish poker ace Martin Jacobson, who pocketed $10 million at the World Series, could encourage gamblers to bet even more money, say addiction experts issuing warnings in Sweden.

Jacobson made headlines after scooping the fortune at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

He said that he improved his game skills online when he found nobody else wanted to play with him.

But his success though may act as destructive advertizing for the game, according to experts at the Games Addicts Association.

"We know what type of information this triggers. For those who have just quit playing it will be quite tough", Patrik Axelsson of the association told the TT news agency.

He stated that in meetings with individual gamblers and in group therapy sessions, the issue of advertising always crops up.

"There are three or four commercials between every TV show, lots of ads in the newspapers and a lot of gaming adverts on news websites on the internet".

The head of the Swedish Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten) said gamblers needed to be aware of the slim chances of emulating Jacobson's good luck.

"When there is a big win then that easily becomes a very positive media image of what gambling is all about. It needs to be balanced with information of how small the chances of winning really are and the negative consequences playing risks", Marie Risbeck of the Swedish Public Health Agency told TT.

According to the agency one in ten young men have problems with gambling.

Poker ace Martin Jacobson pocketed a cool $10 million on Tuesday after winning the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

The 27-year-old is the first and only Swede to become a world master of the popular card game.

"I'm probably shocked because I can't feel anything right now", Jacobson told US sports broadcaster ESPN after his win.

"This victory means so much to me".

He edged out the second placed Norwegian Felix Stephensen in the final round with three tens, while Stephensen only had a pair on nines.

Jacobson, who was born in Stockholm but lives in London, honed his game online when he found no one else wanted to play with him.

Jesus: Married With Children? New Book Drops Bombshell

Via Disclose.tv:

A new book claims Jesus married Mary Magdalene and had two sons with her, based on 1,500-year-old manuscript found in the British Library.

"The Lost Gospel", by Israeli-Canadian writer Simcha Jacobovici and York University Professor Barrie Wilson, bases its claim on the document dating back to 570 AD and written in Aramaic.

After six years of scrutiny, the authors concluded that the characters described this "fifth gospel", Joseph and Aseneth, are in fact code for Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

The two were married by the Pharaoh of Egypt and had two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

“There is now written evidence that Jesus was married to Mary the Magdalene and that they had children together. … Gathering dust in the British Library is a document that takes us into the missing years of Jesus’s life”, the book states.

Disputed by many experts, the theory about Jesus' union with Mary Magdalene is perhaps best represented in works of fiction such as Nikos Kazantzakis' "The Last Temptation of Christ" and Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code".

In 2012, a Harvard University professor unveiled a fourth-century fragment of papyrus she said is the only existing ancient text quoting Jesus explicitly referring to having a wife.

The authors will answer questions at a press conference at the British Library on Wednesday, but "The Lost Gospel" is already being met with skepticism. “I don’t think that there is any credibility in these claims at all", Mark Goodacre, a professor of religious studies at Duke University told ABC News.

"There is simply no evidence in this text or anywhere else that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene, much less that they had a couple of children”.

Co-author Simcha Jacobovici has been known to shake up the archaeological world with provocative theories about early Christianity.

In his films, he claimed to have uncovered the location of the original tomb of Jesus and his family (in the Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem) and the nails used for the crucifixion.

Obama Orders "Mental-Health" Testing For Schoolkids

Via WND:

Jane Robbins, senior fellow at the American Principles Project in Washington, D.C., said: "Never let a good crisis (a school shooting) go to waste, right?. This appears to be part of the broader goal of focusing education less on academic knowledge and more on students’ feelings, mindsets, attitudes, etc. — so-called social and emotional learning (SEL)".

"This is much worse than most people believe", Anita Hoge, an education consultant and expert on the student assessment industry said in an email.

"First of all, schools will apply for partial hospitalization licenses so they can bill Medicaid for wrap-around mental health services".

Minnesota was one of the first states to jump headlong into the psychological training and testing of kids.

"Under five-year grant contracts with the department, 36 mental health organizations will provide school-linked mental health services to approximately 35.000 students in more than 800 schools across 257 school districts and 82 counties by 2018", according to a release by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

"More than half of those students will receive mental health services for the first time".

Myself, I don't believe there is basically anything wrong with American kids.

American kids are smart and have just adapted maybe a little too well to the American traditions and way of life.

“We Are In The Bullseye!” Expert Warns, “By Midweek, All Hell’s Going To Break Loose!”

Via Before It's News:

Michio Kaku joins CBS This Morning to warn 250 million Americans that “we are in the bullseye” and by midweek, “all hell’s going to break loose” as America prepares to be pummeled by something sounding almost Biblical, ‘BomboGenesis’.

Kaku warns that air, train and vehicle traffic could be paralyzed next week, and schedules disrupted: “A massive disruption that will peak around November 13th to November 15th” Kaku informs us, before telling us that we could feel the ‘ripple effects’ throughout November.

Kaku also warns “the Earth is changing” and we need to get used to seeing more “violent swings”.

Why The Temple Mount Matters

Via Ministry Matters:

Psalm 122:6 instructs us to "Pray that Jerusalem has peace".

Well, now would definitely be a good time to pray, because Jerusalem is currently at a boiling point.

And it’s largely over what might be the most contested piece of real estate in history: the Temple Mount.

Sweden's Finance Minister Calls For EU Tax Law Review

Via The Local:

Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson is calling for a review of tax laws in Sweden and the EU after claims that Swedish companies are among hundreds of international firms that have secured secret tax deals in Luxembourg.

Magdalena Andersson met with other European Finance Ministers in Brussels on Thursday night to discuss reports that Swedish companies including Ikea, Tele2, and SEB saved billions of kronor by banking in Luxembourg.

Hundreds of other companies based elsewhere in the EU have also been accused of taking advantage of tax avoidance schemes.

"I have just been to dinner with a number of finance ministers and this is what we talked about. There is a focus on anti-avoidance measures”, she told Swedish television network SVT.

She said that Sweden had already worked hard to combat tax avoidance but said there was “often a creativity among tax lawyers”.

Speaking from Stockholm earlier on Friday, she spoke specifically about Ikea’s role in the scandal.

"IKEA's been a very good advertisement for Sweden in the world. But it is clear that IKEA, as other companies that end up in this kind of context, must consider what it means for the image of the company in the long term”.

EU finance ministers are expected to hold further discussions on Friday, including looking at how EU-wide legislation on tax avoidance might be introduced, an idea already criticized by some leading Swedish economists.

"It is not at all a question of morality. It is about the sovereignty of countries - countries have the right to create their own tax laws, and companies must follow them. The companies have done in this case", Malin Sahlén, an economist at the liberal think tank Timbro told news agency TT.

What Happened To Women In Computer Science?

Via npr:

Modern computer science is dominated by men. But it hasn't always been this way.

A lot of computing pioneers — the people who programmed the first digital computers — were women.

And for decades, the number of women studying computer science was growing faster than the number of men.

But in 1984, something changed.

The percentage of women in computer science flattened, and then plunged, even as the share of women in other technical and professional fields kept rising.

What happened?

We spent the past few weeks trying to answer this question, and there's no clear, single answer.

But here's a good starting place: The share of women in computer science started falling at roughly the same moment when personal computers started showing up in U.S. homes in significant numbers.

These early personal computers weren't much more than toys.

You could play pong or simple shooting games, maybe do some word processing.

And these toys were marketed almost entirely to men and boys.

This idea that computers are for boys became a narrative.

It became the story we told ourselves about the computing revolution.

It helped define who geeks were, and it created techie culture.

Movies like Weird Science, Revenge of the Nerds and War Games all came out in the '80s.

And the plot summaries are almost interchangeable: awkward geek boy genius uses tech savvy to triumph over adversity and win the girl.

In the 1990s, researcher Jane Margolis interviewed hundreds of computer science students at Carnegie Mellon University, which had one of the top programs in the country.

She found that families were much more likely to buy computers for boys than for girls — even when their girls were really interested in computers.

This was a big deal when those kids got to college.

As personal computers became more common, computer science professors increasingly assumed that their students had grown up playing with computers at home.

Patricia Ordóñez didn't have a computer at home, but she was a math wiz in school.

"My teacher realized I was really good at solving problems, so she pulled me and this other boy out to do special math", she says. "We did math instead of recess!"

So when Ordóñez got to Johns Hopkins University in the '80s, she figured she would study computer science or electrical engineering.

Then she took her first intro class — and found that most of her male classmates were way ahead of her because they'd grown up playing with computers.

"I remember this one time I asked a question and the professor stopped and looked at me and said, 'You should know that by now,' " she recalls. "And I thought 'I am never going to excel' ".

In the '70s, that never would have happened: Professors in intro classes assumed their students came in with no experience. But by the '80s, that had changed.

Ordóñez got through the class but earned the first C of her life.

She eventually dropped the program and majored in foreign languages.

More than a decade later, though, she returned to computers.

She found a mentor, and eventually got a Ph.D. in computer science.

Now she's an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Puerto Rico.

Christians Should Vote Communist

Jesus Christ is really the perfect manifestation of a good and solid communist.

Many Christians stay home on election day, or don't know who to vote for.

Is it then any wonder we have governments all over the world we are unhappy with?

If a flock stumbles into the ditch, you don’t blame the sheep. You blame the shepherd.

We should blame the five Christian Orthodox Patriarchs (in Constantinople, Alexandria, Antiochia, Jerusalem, and Rome) to not enough promote and support worldwide communism.

But when the challenges become great on God's people, it will rise to the occasion.

The threats are great and many against humanity.

Yet, I’m convinced God is not done with His people.

Jesus Christ compels Christians to support communism as the ideal social system.

The Bible indicates that the first Christians, including the Apostles, established their own small communist society - the first communist society - in the years following Jesus' death and resurrection.

Communism is then indeed the ideology taught by Jesus Christ - Himself Lord and God - and indeed communism was practiced by the Apostles themselves.

The Church is indeed an important pillar in replacing capitalism with socialism.

Now the communist social order and philosophy can already be derived from and found in ancient Egypt.

We all have to go back to basics and embrace communism, and then all pieces fall together in blessings, harmony, and victory.

Alexander the Great - a mighty Prophet of the Muslims - was hailed as Savior and Liberator of Egypt, and was the people's choice and legitimate heir and a role model.

Anointed as Pharaoh in Memphis on 14 November 332 BC, when Alexander the Great was crowned with the double crown of the Two Lands, it was the climactic moment when the high priest named him 'son of the gods' according to traditions dating back almost 3.000 years.

Here we have the picture of the future of the modern welfare state.

All in the Party/State. No salvation outside the Party/State.

Sweden Prepares For Record Asylum Arrivals

Via The Local:

Sweden’s Migration Board says it expects 83.000 asylum seekers will have moved to the country by the end of the year, 3000 more than it previously predicted.

Ongoing fighting in Iraq and Syria has already led to a sharp rise in asylum applications in Sweden.

In April, Sweden’s Migration Board predicted that 61,000 people would apply this year, but by September it said it expected to assist 80,000 people by January 2015.

On Tuesday that figure was increased again to 83.000.

This is about as many as in 1992, when record numbers arrived during the Balkans war.

"This is a different situation from the Balkans", said the Chief Operating Officer for Sweden's Migration board Michael Ribbenvik.

"That was a temporary peak, now we do not think that the flow of refugees will subside. We believe the conflict in Syria will not be slowing down. Iraq is heading in the wrong direction, Afghanistan is uncertain and we see no improvement in the dictatorship of Eritrea", he revealed at a press conference on Tuesday.

With around 2.000 people arriving each week, there are signs that the influx of asylum seekers and refugees is starting to cause tensions in Sweden, a traditionally open and tolerant country.

As more people seek to resettle in Sweden, public costs are rising.

A major problem is that different municipalities in Sweden have adopted slightly different approaches to refugees, with some offering less protection for refugees than others.

This means that new immigrants tend to cluster in certain areas such as Skåne and Stockholm.

In September’s general election the nationalist anti-immigration Sweden Democrats won 12.9 percent of the vote and became the third largest party in Sweden.

Sweden's Migration Board also announced its full forecast for 2015 on Tuesday, suggesting that 95.000 asylum seekers would land in Sweden, 16.000 than previously forecast.

This would be a record for the country.

If we here in Sweden want to change the world we must now start to control the world.

The way by Lithuania and then south might prove to be the best - and why not together with Russia and maybe also with Germany?

Sweden's Foreign Minister Is "Disturbed" By Russia

Via The Local:

Sweden’s Foreign Minister Margot Wallström has said she is worried about the growing Russian military presence in the Baltic Sea and promised that Sweden intends to defend its territory.

Margot Wallström, who was selected as Sweden’s Foreign Minister last month, has described recent reports of increased military activity around the Baltic Sea as “disturbing” and said she is “shocked” by the situation.

Speaking to SVT’s Agenda programme on Sunday night, she acknowledged that a large number of Russian military aircraft had been active in the region over the past week, less than a month after reports of suspicious underwater operations in Stockholm’s archipelago.

At the time a foreign vessel was believed to be in Swedish waters, the government and the Swedish military chose their words carefully and did not suggest it belonged to Russia.

But asked about the Russian military presence in the area, she said:

“It worries me and I also think Swedes in general, as well as all the other countries around the Baltic Sea”.

She added that she was “surprised” how things had turned out “after the Cold War and all the attempts to engage with Russia”.

As pro-Russian separatists held elections in eastern Ukraine on Sunday, a vote not recognised by the EU, she said:

“It is bad. It is an election that is not legitimate…We are protesting against it”.

The Foreign Minister also said that Sweden was ready to defend its territory if necessary.

“As in Ukraine, we are entitled to our territorial integrity”.

Her comments came days after a poll suggested more Swedes are now in favor of their country joining Nato than are against the idea.

In the survey for Novus, 37 percent of Swedes questioned said they supported joining Nato compared with 36 percent who were against the idea.

It is the first time a survey has suggested that a larger proportion of Swedes back joining Nato as opposed to keeping out of the organisation.

Sweden's Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist has also suggested that compulsory conscription could be reintroduced in Sweden.

I hope Sweden and the West will try harder to get better relations with Russia soon.

The Russians are our friends and it is in our best interest to have good relations with our great neighbor.

Pope Declares Evolution And Big Bang Theory Are Real And God Is Not "A Magician With A Magic Wand"

Via Disclose.tv:

The theories of evolution and the Big Bang are real and God is not “a magician with a magic wand”, Pope Francis has declared.

Speaking at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, the Pope made comments which experts said put an end to the “pseudo theories” of creationism and intelligent design that some argue were encouraged by his predecessor, Benedict XVI.

Francis explained that both scientific theories were not incompatible with the existence of a creator – arguing instead that they “require it”.

“When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so”, Francis said.

He added: “He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfilment".

“The Big Bang, which today we hold to be the origin of the world, does not contradict the intervention of the divine creator but, rather, requires it".

“Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve”.

The Catholic Church has long had a reputation for being anti-science – most famously when Galileo faced the inquisition and was forced to retract his “heretic” theory that the Earth revolved around the Sun.

But Pope Francis’s comments were more in keeping with the progressive work of Pope Pius XII, who opened the door to the idea of evolution and actively welcomed the Big Bang theory.

Swedish Sisters Create Viral Syria Stir

Via The Local:

Two sisters from Södertälje near Stockholm are celebrating getting more than 1.3 million hits on YouTube, with a video calling for peace in war-torn Syria.

Faia Younan who is 22 and her sister Rihan, 23, whose family hails from Syria, use the video to talk about what they describe as the "crazy, selfish and illogical war" that has been going on in Syria for three years.

Speaking and singing in Arabic, they say they want the country to be "safe and prosperous and triumphant and dignified" once again.

They call on politicians on all sides to help resolve the conflict.

The video was posted online at the start of the month, but started to pick up momentum earlier this week following coverage in the international media.

Using the hashtag #ToOurCountries, thousands of people have been commenting on the film and its message.

"There are very many who have been in touch and thanked us, and they have told us that they had so much hope after seeing the video", Faia Younan told Swedish television network SVT.

"We wanted to show that there is a different perspective than what we see on TV every day with a lot of blood, destroyed buildings and people crying", she added.

"We wanted to remind people of the beauty of our country and that we have the hope that it will be good some day".
